This Madewell is located at The Point. Meaning, it is in a very nice shopping location, surround by a number of other high-end shops and restaurants that offer a wide variety of food and drink. This store offers what Madewell is known for providing; i.e. a variety of nice clothing options for women and for men. As each Madewell store offers slight variants in what they are selling, what you will find at this shop may be slightly different from what you will find at other Madewell stores. One way or the other, this store offers the style of clothing and accessories that you can expect from this brand. The shop is well organized and staffed by knowledgeable employees who are happy to help you out if you need it. Overall, if you are in the South Bay and need some Madewell something, this is your place to go.

Best Madewell store in the South Bay! I love this place. The staff is friendly and helpful without being pushy. I love the selection of merchandise. And the sales are the best deal for the quality of these clothes and shoes. Today Renee helped me out with an item in store and ordering some petite pants online, she's fantastic!

It does not seem like Madewell gets good reviews. Despite really good clothes, well-curated trends, and a bright and clean space...they get a lot of poor reviews on the staff, warmth of the front line workers and overall handling of customers. I really disagree. We had a nice experience. Multiple staff helped out with the return of an online order and the trying on and fit of some new jeans for me. Everyone was chatty. The two sales folks i spoke to knew their products well and were able to compare another brand fit also. I was impressed with the products. The sales persons and the prices too.

Poor customer service. A register said "Next" right after we paid even tough. It seems like she said go away. She was cold and unwelcoming.

I bought some jeans online and they felt a little stiff in the hip area. So I was debating whether or not to return them. I went into the store and two associates were very helpful in showing me different types of jeans to find my ideal fit. The store was a little busy but they still made time to help me. They told me that Madewell jeans get a a half inch looser after you wear it. They also told me which types of jeans to filter for the look I wanted. I really appreciated their customer service. I do agree with some of the reviews below. There have been times that I've been into the El Segundo Madewell store and felt uncomfortable or unwelcome but it seems this location is working hard to remedy that and I can appreciate their huge improvement in customer service.

This morning I went to this branch, it's so sad to be stepping into a store where the staff are unwelcoming, especially the one assigned at the counter. She looked so cold, flat and stiff, not even looking or acknowledging incoming customers. There was only one staff who's arranging the merchandise who made a simple remark of " let me know how I can assist you". I remember the same experience in another one of their branch, so I wasn't so surprised though quite concerning. Read other reviews prior creating this, seems that the pattern is the same. Either staff are not properly trained on this aspect, no training at all or the management didn't find the comments valid or credible enough to emphasize customer service satisfaction is essential part of a successful business. In a time when businesses are thriving because of the country's financial crisis, business owners must emphasize on customer service to engage and attract patrons to purchase their merchandise. I guess their business is doing quite well that they don't need to attend to paying customers. Lululemon signature customer service is a perfect example, you come in the store to browse and buy, lucky if you find a stock of what you plan to buy, but buy anyways since the crew are exceptionally attentive, friendly and accommodating. Hopefully they re-evaluate their marketing strategy, until then I don't see any reason to patronize this business.

Poor customer service! Seems like they just hire a bunch of kids without training any of them, completely unprofessional, not helpful and not friendly.The merchandize are nice, so if you like this brand, go to Del Amo instead.

Really cute stuff but really poor services. I was there for a while but not one sales associate asked if we needed help finding sizes or need a dressing room. In fact not one greeted us, 3 giggling sales associates just standing around talking about their love life, one clearly passed me by the dressing room and just gave me a sus glance and walked off. The associate at the register was so unfriendly when we were checking out ....did I owe her money? Or stolen her boyfriend? Would it hurt to smile? Oh wait maybe that's the associate manager, oh boy is this store in trouble! From this experience, I'll just purchase everything online instead of going in person. Seems like the same complaints from many other reviews here, clearly, the manager doesn't care. Maybe don't just hire associates without training them on customer service? The associates are not just there to re-stock items, their main focus should be helping customers. Want to bet you will have much better sales if you have better customer service?

Took my friend to get her first pair of madewell jeans and one of the sales associates was so rude and basically body shaming my friend because she was unable to find the right fitting jeans. She was super pushy and insisted she was right about the fit being "too baggy" on my friend. We left the store with such a sour experience. Please be better and don't body shame your not so skinny customers.

Love the staff at this Madewell location! All of the employees are taking so many health and safety precautions in the store - wearing masks and gloves, only have certain fitting rooms open, wiping down the register area, social distancing, etc. which made me feel very safe while shopping. I went in to return a purse that I ordered online and unfortunately, it arrived with a big scratch so I wanted to exchange it. The employee that helped me was so nice and since the store didn't have a new one in stock, she had one overnighted. I received the new bag today and it's perfect. Thanks Madewell El Segundo!
