  Fusion Academy Manhattan Beach has been an amazing experience for our son. He is a smart and hard working kid but for some reason a large public high school didn't work for him so he switched to Fusion Academy Manhattan Beach in his Sophomore year of high school and is now in his junior year. There are so many positives to share. The one-on-one teaching is excellent. The quality of the teachers is very high but my son is also understanding the school work so much more as he is able to ask questions right away but at the same time there is no place to hide in the class. The teachers are also very supportive, they want you to understand the work and it feels more like a partnership. There are also more course options available, which given my sons interest in computing, he has been able to take classes like Cybersecurity in addition to the usual AP computer classes, and is planning on taking Animation in his final year. The school is also very flexible as there has been times he has had to move classes around or reschedule classes due to things like illness, and it has been very easy to do that. What we have really learned as a family is that there are many school options available to your kids, and if you find the right one, like we have for our son, it can really change them in a positive way.

  Best school ever! My honors star student and homecoming princess daughter was crushed and burnt out by all the hours of unnecessary homework her public high school was giving her. Futures Academy is giving her a better education in half the hours. She actually spends MORE time with her friends from her previous school now because she’s not stuck at a desk doing homework all evening. We feel so grateful to have found this school! I cannot recommend it enough.

  I appreciate the communication and courses offered! Unfortunately my daughter had to go online for a part of her course. Futures is not an inexpensive summer option so a bummer but they have been very accommodating to make sure she still gets the quality program needed!!

  The personal attention and 1 on 1 instruction is excellent. Any issues that come up with on time class attendance, submission of homework and tutoring are timely and effective.

  We chose Futures Academy for summer school and very happy with the entire process. Communication with the staff is easy, prompt and everyone is responsive to our needs. My son didn't necessarily want to be in school this summer but he has enjoyed working with the instructors and actually seems more positive about his work. A definite bonus!! Thank you to Gretchen, Anesha and the team at Manhattan Beach campus!

  Simply WOW! One of the best decisions we made for our son and his future. The program fits his needs from nearly every angle because it is tailored and adjusted as needed. The staff at Futures in Manhattan Beach is excellent, friendly and understanding. They do everything they can to assist and accommodate.

  Love the one-one learning model. Administration is kind, helpful, and responsive. Teachers are great. Transition to online was seamless. We love this place!

  Futures has been great for my daughter during the pandemic. We made the move from public school because I was worried about the quality of education she might get online with so many other students in her classes.The online one on one with a teacher has worked out so well. She is fully engaged in her classes and learning so much. It honestly brings a smile to my face every time I hear her talking with her teachers laughing and learning. It was such a great decision

  Futures has given my son a positive school experience. The staff, students, and the environment is very welcoming. I appreciate having the opportunity to join the Futures family and can't wait to see all that is to come. My son can do it..... his grades haven't looked better. He loves school because it is at Futures.

  My son is in his second year @ Futures Academy Manhattan Beach. They have been amazing at working with him at his pace, which is faster than average. They use M.A.P testing to ensure proper placement and challenges for each student. They allowed my son to move ahead in areas where he was particularly advanced, and did continual check ins to make sure he was at the right level and not flailing. The program is diverse and inclusive all the students 6-12 respect each other and really help one another. It is small, but that has not stopped my extrovert from flourishing.

  Worst experience with schoolTeachers were decent but the management was horrible
