I have nothing but good things to say about this place! Dr. Streiber has been fantastic in helping us navigate our cat’s health issues and continues to show us how much her cares for his patients well-being. It really sucks to see your pet in rough shape, but having a place like this makes it easier knowing your pet is being properly taken care of.

VET DID NOT TEST FOR RINGWORM. If I could give 0 stars I would. I found a 4-week old kitten under my car that looked severely malnourished. This vet was the closest to me so I took the kitten here to check its health. The vet reported that the kitten only has fleas and tested negative for other diseases like FIV. The vet said they typically don't check for ringworm because it is rare in kittens. The kitten had hairless and flaky skin (both signs of ringworm) but the vet said this was due to stress on the kitten. I took the kitten home and gave it a flea bath. Pretty soon I contracted ringworm from the kitten. I learned that other vets and shelters test for ringworm immediately because it is so common in stray kittens. My entire family is infected with ringworm. I have over 60 lesions on my entire body. It is truly a nightmare. Treating this kitten for ringworm is next to impossible since our whole house is contaminated. Had we known the kitten had ringworm immediately, I would have been able to take necessary precautions and isolate the kitten. I would have been able to treat her better without having to also treat my family of 5 and juggle dermatologist appointments as well as vet check ups. Not to mention $$$$$$ of vet bills.

My beloved senior cat, Rusty, was suddenly in distress from long-term chronic kidney disease, refusing food for a couple days and unable to drink water without throwing up. I was freaking out because I had to leave town shortly for three weeks. This happened to be an important trip to care for my mom. I hated the thought of both "disappearing" on Rusty at this critical time, or not being there for him should he die. ESAH kindly carried through on offering me a cancelled appointment that same day. Dr. Shin was wonderful and caring. She told me that Rusty was in critical condition and advised of extreme measures that could be taken to try to stabilize his health. She also admitted that treatment may not work and would only offer a temporary solution. She assured me that--far from cruel--this would be a good time to let Rusty go. Her stating this was extremely important to me in making a very painful, sudden decision. Dr. Shin and the ESAH staff were exceptionally kind and supportive. They allowed my husband and I all the time we needed to pamper Rusty and say our good-byes. Rusty was calmed by our presence and drifted off peacefully. I'm grateful to Dr. Shin and the ESAH staff for guiding and helping me through this very tough experience. They followed up by sending me flowers the next day. As sad as I am over the loss of Rusty, I'm also feeling lucky to live near this amazing clinic.

The facility was easy to get to with plenty of parking. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The veterinarian was also friendly, thorough, and made everything very clear and concise.

We recently took our dog for his teeth extractions. The staff was on top of everything. They called us before the extractions and explained everything in detail . After the surgery the technician spent time explaining the care our dog will need and his medicines. Since we have a pet insurance they prepared the bill clearly stating the services provided. We are very happy with the care and professionalism of this place. I highly recommend this hospital.

This has been my second visit to El Segundo Animal Hospital with my dog Muncy. It's a 15 minute walk from my house. I am so happy with the care. Dr Shin is awesome and explains things so well! The vet techs are great and very professional. The front office staff are all friendly and caring.

I can't thank the staff at El Segundo Animal Hospital enough for the incredible care they provided me and my fur babies during a recent emergency. I felt so out of my depth, but the kindness they showed me on such a difficult day truly meant the world. Even as new patients, they took us in promptly, and were so patient. Thank you!

Dr.Strieber is the best. He's the only vet I've been to that takes his time and listens. Exams are always thorough and informative. Been taking our 2 cats here for a year now and have no complaints!

This is the best vet we've ever had -- and we've had dogs for 30 years. The staff is great. They don't book too far out. And they're very accommodating and client-centric.
