Liz and the whole staff at this branch of CNB are great! I needed help setting up a locked trust account for a minor and they were so beyond helpful and made the process easy and fun!

I love this bank and branch. Everyone knows my name. There is rarely a line and if there is, it is maybe one person. Lizbis my favorite teller. She us always so chipper

Avoid this branch at all costs. On top of it being a ghost town, you'd think they'd be eager to help people, if for nothing else, at bare minimum the mental stimulation of talking to a human being. There were two branch employees and neither one of them were very welcoming at all. Especially the one behind the desk. Went to open a business account and was told we had to make an appointment, because clearly they were so busy. Needless to say, haven't received a call back and at this point, I wouldn't pick up anyway. If I could give this branch 0 stars, I would.

We have a checking account here with an organization where I am on the Board and this bank branch is impossible to deal with. I thought dealing with the DMV was difficult but CNB makes the DMV look like a cake walk. We have been trying to add signatories to our account for 3 weeks. It doesn't seem like a difficult process but I've had to supply documents that they should have already had-charters, proof we are a 501(c)(3)-like I said, things they should have had when we opened the account. We still haven't been able to add signatories. I have no idea what's going on, my calls are returned only when my contact is in the office and those dates are not clear to me. They don't let us bank online. It's an absolute nightmare. My contact who has been trying to "help" us told me when she's out of the office she doesn't get emails so I had to resend her something. If I was OOO and told my colleagues I don't get emails when I'm not in the office they would laugh in my face. Don't start with this bank, there are a lot of choices so choose something else, I wouldn't wish this treatment on my worst enemy.

I've been coming to this branch for the past month to cash my checks and have experienced excellent customer service. They are friendly and very helpful with getting me in and out. The only downside for me is the parking.

They isolate parking spots out front for bank customers but they do not enforce it so there is very seldom a place to park. All the other spots in the lot are "restaurant parking only". Getting really tired of all 4 or 5 spaces being taken only to go into the bank and find only one customer. I mentioned it to one of the tellers one day and she just shrugged her shoulders. That being said, the bank personnel are great and I'm happy with the service- just very frustrating when you can't park.

This is not a bank you want to bank with no matter what location you get no customer service they'll charge you for every little frivolous thing that goes against your account they will not contact you they will not support you in any way with your banking if you want to place to dump your money and let them earn and never expect anything from your bank this may be the bank for you

This bank as a whole is by far the worst, I have doubt with. I have tried to cash a check from a well known company here at the City National Bank that they bank at. Which with any other bank would have been a piece of cake, less than a five minute transaction. (I.e. Chase, Bank of America, Citi, Bank of the West, US Bank etc) NEVER did I ever had to begin with the most horrific experience with the tellers initially.... Elsy has an attitude then just when I thought this transaction would go better Liz turned out to have the same issue. They lack customer service skills and did not have an empathetic or kind demeanor! They both had attitudes and nasty facial expressions. I felt like I perhaps was banking in the wrong neighborhood. Yes, a getto neighborhood!! I do not recommend this bank for your business needs as your clients will have a terrible time accessing their money!! I had NEVER had an experience like this!!

I have been a client of City National Bank for 7 years and the VP Fernando Linares has handled my accounts personally. I've banked all over the world, and Fernando is the banker who has gone the extra mile by far. Truly world-class service. In the past he has helped me get in touch with the foreign currency department or following up with me as promised like clockwork-there have been 50 Times or more where he has demonstrated what customer service really should be all about. Highly recommend!

I am a client of the Manhattan Beach branch on Rosecrans, and have had the pleasure of dealing with the manager of the branch Fernando Linares, who is always prompt, professional, gracious and reliable. Fernando helped me with details concerning a first time home purchase, and I now do all my banking with this branch exclusively. When comparing to all of the other commercial banks where you are treated like a number or a statistic, there is no comparison. City national truly gives its clients five-star service. As a physician my time is often very limited and it's reassuring to know that all my banking needs will be handled seamlessly by people like Fernando.
