The absolute rudest staff I have ever encountered. Both males working on 11/12/23 at 8:30pm. Asked for a bathroom and was effectively yelled at and had one of the males swatting his hand in my face, no customer service whatsoever. Unfortunately in a convenient location so suitable for a lot of people, but horrendous staff.

On October 31 2023 At about approximately 8:23 pm I went in and bought 2 big gulps at 7 eleven 100 w imperial ave, el segundo, ca, 90245 , I asked cashier to scan my app and he said it wasn’t working so I proceeded to try and type my phone number in for my rewards. Cashier proceeded to yell at me and humiliate me in front of my daughter and other customers making me nervous and not being able to get his name . I’ll describe the man about 5’8 with an accent and blue/grey eyes. I feel very discouraged to use my app or show my face in that store again, it made me have a terrible experience and a worse night.

I guess my experiences have been unlike the many negative reviewers'. The parking spaces are small but it's a clean 7-11. The last time I went in the cashier refused to sell firewood and a lighter to two obviously underaged teens who were bad liars. I know some locals who frequent here and they say the employees are cordial. I thought he might have been rude to me when he rang me up, but then he was nice with his follow up. Of course some essentials are overpriced but they are open 24 hours and they do have sales. For instance on drinks and ice cream. This place is heaven for salty and sweet snack lovers. I usually come in for their strong coffee, drinks and chicken salad sandwich. When it's darker outside, the brightly lit lottery jackpot amounts are easily visible from Main Street.

Now I have been a customer the very first days I lived here with my family back in 1996. This place is so close and that is very accessible to us. Yet all my experiences here have taught me over the years, they do not care for their regular customers as they should. It's residents who pay patronage to these business. Now if they can succeed without residents then more power to them but, it is a residential area which they are in. My first bad experience happened as a kid who went here every weekend with friends. By now I figured after my 30th visit this summer I wouldn't have problems, boy was I wrong. I went back to put a bag of chips as I saw some at the counter I liked more, no one was behind me in line and my friends were there. Walking back with no chips and grabbing the other bag he proceeds to ask me "what did you put in your pocket?" I was shocked, I never shoplifted in my life and to do it over a bag of chips that way, I had board shorts on so where could I have put them. It was just a very weird question after I seen this man 30 times and never had a problem. Red flag 2nd times we went to buy some items when I noticed other people stealing like crazy, they were heading to the beach but I felt as though it was just wrong, then as I turned to see the guy was obviously seeing it too but I'm guessing because it was not a little kid who's a regular it's okay. Beer bottles fine steal them, but if you go out a bag of chips back to get another bag, be ready to be questioned. The last straw was when I was 18. I had not been to 7-11 in years at this point even though it's just 5 minute walk literally. I win $100 on a scratcher and ironically I didn't trust going to a small store to turn it in so I figured "7-11 has to deal with lotto wins often, I'll go there." What a HUGe mistake that was. I tell the guy stupidly, "this was my first win over a ticket or $5, I won $100, do I just hand it to you, what happens?" How d*** right? A now younger clerk, maybe a few years older at that time, then grabs it, verifies it and then puts it in his pocket. He then proceeds to tell me I can only get about $75-$80 in cash, but I must buy some scratchers as well. Being new to this and just plain ignorant, I thought yeah that sounds about right. He gave me $80 plus $15 in scratchers, asking if he can pocket the $5. Well feeling like a win at some casino I was like yeah why not. Not really questioning if what just happened was how it usually went. I understand this was my own ignorance but I trust store clerks to kind of be honest with their customers just as much as they want their customers to be honest with them. Once I found out by my buddy at Chevron I got ripped big time, I never returned and never want to. Chevron is about a 6-7 minute drive as to 6-7 minute walk to 7-11, and I like the people at Chevron, they remember me, they are friendly and honest. I will always go out of my way to avoid this 7/11. PS - Also the parking is horrendous you have people constantly going in through the exit. It's a one way drive way, you enter on Main and exit on Imperial but I guess that would just make too much sense for this 7-11.

I picked up a Double Big Gulp and some Pork Rinds. One problem was there were things that limited the access for someone who is in a mobility device.

This 7-Eleven is in a very difficult spot to get to. A pro to this 7-Eleven is that it's pretty big and newly remodeled. The spot has a whole bunch of snacks, drinks, food, supplies and travel necessities since it's so close to the airport. A con to this 7-Eleven is there isn't much parking spaces. Many people were just sitting in their car because I think they're waiting for time to go to the airport since it's so close.
