Soooo.... It got worse at pick-up. They gaslit my husband. I won't go into it because I have nothing nice to say. I reached out to Luis who addressed my review. I was offered ....... a free service. No thanks. I wouldn't have accepted a month, year, or lifetime of services. They couldn't pay me to take my car back. I won't even go back to that area because it's tainted. I'm being dramatic, but not unwarranted. I don't trust this place, and will check other Hyundai dealers. Even if I have to drive to another city. Sorry Luis, I can't in good conscience let people spend their hard earned money at this place. Inflation is killing us, and the added stress from lackluster service just isn't worth it. Please Hyundai get it together your customers deserve better.

Do not take your business here. I went to look at a vehicle here and was working with Leo. He was very patient, not pushy at all, transparent, and calm. HOWEVER, the manager forget his name, I think Miguel, but he wears glasses and has tattoos was extremely unprofessional. From the get he was pressuring me and wasn't personable at all, was hitting a vape and had three of them on his desk in front of me and my dad. I was feeling unsure about the vehicle and wasn't feeling ready to sign papers but was being so persistent to the point where I was ready to just leave. He made it VERY CLEAR how annoyed he was and said that he "invested all this time" and that "he wasn't gonna be going back and forth with another dealership", last time I checked you're working in sales and that's typically what happens in the car sales industry. Because of his attitude and bad manners he caused his kind sales employee LEO to lose a sale. Literally had all the worse qualities of a shitty pushy salesmen. Buying a car is already scary and such a big commitment and he made that experience so uncomfortable. You're tripping if you think it's okay to guilt a person into buying a vehicle.

Don't buy your next Hyundai here. You'll be disappointed with the service and the service department is never available to schedule a maintenance call. I've called through out the day and I leave messages nobody gets back to me. I hope management changes for the better.Okay. I managed to schedule my appointment for my son's vehicle service. Fortunately I got in contact with Saul one of the service advisors. He was very helpful and apologetic and sympathized with my frustration. He hooked me up with the car service. Please ask for him when you have any issues. Thank you for your help Hyundai. Made my weekend.

Usually I don’t have the best experience with taking my car to the dealer. But this most recent time was excellent and they took care of all of my issues! Jay was super helpful and I would definitely recommend going to him and this Hyundai!

Great service - top notch engagement with employees - I travel far to get there because of the quality of the experience. (I’m somewhat grateful to Glendale Hyundai for being so awful that it allowed me to discover CardinaleWay Hyundai… !). I will return for services and all future car purchases!

Brianne was awesome throughout the entire car buying process. She made me feel super comfortable from the very beginning. I was initially coming in for a vandalism and total loss of my 2013 Jeep Compass and walked out with a 2021 Hyundai Kona. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a car and as a friend as well. She also followed up AFTER the point of sale. Excellent customer satisfaction and customer service experience overall.

LAZY AND INCOMPETENT SALES STAFFMy wife and I wanted to get a specific 2023 Hyundai model and trim, at the end of the car year. There were only two left in a 250-mile radius from us. This dealership had one, so we reserved it and drove 5 hours from Arizona to buy it. Before we departed, it took over 8 hours to arrange our deal. It was done by text messages, even though I asked it to be done by e-mail for proper record keeping, when I'm spending over $40,000 on this vehicle. It was also hard to find out the specific person I was dealing with. Finally, I learned it was the internet sales manager (Joselyn Quintero). When we arrived at the dealership to finalize the purchase, we dealt with the finance manager (Omar Palazzo). I found my credit had been run THREE times to approve me for a Hyundai Finance loan. I have an excellent credit score. Each one affects my credit score, and this was completely unnecessary. What other business have you ever dealt with where your credit was run THREE times for one transaction?I brought in a CA DMV One Trip Permit and my insurance card because I told Omar I do not want it registered in California. This permit is the legal way to move the vehicle to Arizona so I could register it there the next day. Omar ignored this and made out a non-operation registration with CA DMV. Now the CA DMV will unnecessarily hound me for fees for future renewals.I also provided the finance manager Omar with a list of documents I needed to be sent to the Arizona DMV for me to register it there. According to the Arizona DMV, this is standard practice that dealerships in California forward this package. Arizona DMV would not register it until they got the paperwork. However, I later found out that this dealership not only did NOT do this, they refused to do it.For the next week I tried to get hold of the general sales manager (Ron Williams) by e-mails, phone calls, and text messages. Only one time did he respond to me (by phone). He said the dealership would not be sending the necessary forms, and to contact Hyundai Finance to get a copy of the title for my Arizona registration.I was able to get a temporary registration in Arizona but I had to wait two months for Hyundai Finance to send me a certified copy of the title, so I could properly register my car in Arizona. I was advised when I registered my vehicle that Hyundai Finance is one of the most uncooperative manufacturers to deal with, since they refuse to send all the paperwork out-of-state.Next time I will pay more attention to the customer ratings on Yelp, Google, the Better Business Bureau, CarGurus, and Dealer Rater. On these web-sites I later found this dealership has very low ratings and lots of horrible reviews. Suffice to say, I recommend everyone to avoid doing business with this dealership.

Unfortunately they are the same as the majority of the auto shops that sell car maintenance. They just want to scam you by selling services that they don’t even perform in your car. I took my car for maintenance and they said they changed my cabin filter but they didn’t, I have a friend that is mechanic and he checked for me and it was dirty and he had to go to Auto Zone to get a new one and changed it. Now ,I even doubt they have been doing the maintenance the correct way. Sad, I really liked them and now with the new owners that place is a mess.

The worst service center EVER. Made appt online for first service on my Ioniq5 with Joey Flores, checked in through the text message but no one came out. Went in, not one person got up to ask what I was here for or who I had appt with. Service advisor had the worst personality talked to me as if I knew nothing, attitude from the beginning till end. Knew this was going to be a nightmare. He never ask for my issues with the car, I had to tell him. He ended up telling me he wouldn't address any of my concerns with the car bc my appt is only for first service. Apparently I need another appointment, to address any of my diagnostic concerns; which is a surprise?!?! He made it seem like this is my first car I've ever bought. Told him my issues but he clearly didn't want to hear them, told him my key battery was low so I changed it out but since the car at time doesn't want to unlock. He went out to the car, Makes this comment, "don't know how I'm going to fix something that is already fix?" He told me I have a recall, would take 3hrs approx. so I went ahead with waiting. Got a call for pick up, when I was just sitting in the waiting area. They just told me car is outside, so I was left to go find it myself. Drove home, the dash panel on the car remains on for car service needed !!! So what did the service dept do ? Obviously, nothing besides attitude from the service advisor that talks down on people. Called in right away spoke to the other Joey Q told him my concerns he review my files and he told me the recall was not done!! He apologized ask me to reschedule so he could take care of the situation. Ask him to have the service mgr to call me, IM STILL WAITING. 1+ week now !!! I called in again...I was told service mgr is busy it's end of the month. This place is a mess, if I would of known...of this kind of service definitely wouldn't have purchase this car!!

I went to trade in my car today and I was welcomed by Brie and Alex. Brie was my sales agent and she was one of the nicest people I've met. Alex greeted us and helped us with a great smile. If you are going to buy a Hyundai, go to El Monte Cardinalway Hyundai. This is where they have all the kinds of options and colors of all the cars. The manager Desmond helped me to get a great deal. Eddy from Finance helped us finish signing the contract with a kind and positive attitude. Also the best part about this place is the music. Their playlist is spot on! Oh, I had a 2021 Tucson lease and I traded it for a 2023 Santa Fe SE. Price/Service/Efficiency/Vibe/Discount.5 STARS Definitely the best Hyundai out there.

Happy to report that the staff at Cardinale Hyundai in El Monte were wonderful. I felt no pressure to make my decision, but the thorough and clear information they provided facilitated my decision. The cooperative nature of staff working to help me was unique and refreshing. This location was not close to my home but well worth the journey to get the help, and the car, I needed. The owner, Ron, is obviously a great role model for this excellent Hyundai dealership.

Absolutely garbage service department, went in for 75k checkup and inspection. Their inspection didn't even see that the tires needed to be replaced, or the brake pads were less than 1000 miles from gone + rotors needed replacing. Do not trust these guys with your car.The oil change sticker has both of them as green checked boxes. Yet here I am $1500 later, without them finding anything.This is brakes, I told them I was driving 2k miles and they signed off. If I didn't notice something was still off, I could have crashed finishing this trip. The repair shop said if I drove another 1k miles I'd have zero brakes left. They signed off on brakes that had less than 2k miles worth of pad, with a green check mark.The metal tab is the worn indicator for the brakes, I hit that within 500 miles of leaving Hyundai. What exactly did they give green check marks to?

Today I came in to test drive a new car to and came out with a new a car and great friend! After being stuck in traffic for hours on end to the dealership, James Robinson was more than happy to tell me about the all new Santa Cruz 2023 and all of features. Unlike many other dealers I've been to before, James was very relatable and professional when providing feedback on what too look for when buying the truck. I was a bit unsure at first if this was the car for me but after exchanging thought about the car, James made it easy to come to a conclusion. After some negotiating, signing paperwork, and keys were exchanged. I had to tell him even though it was only than a day of meeting him, felt like I'm going to miss him.I'll be sending everyone I know towards his way when looking for a new car! Thanks again James for helping me with my trade in and my new Santa Cruz. The car and the service was exactly what I needed for my new business. Much appreciated bro.
