Avoid this location if possible. Unbelievable long lines and understaffed. The location looks like a shell and lacks furniture. Employees Don't respect clients time and managers are chit chatting with each others as lines form outside the door

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Manny Alcala, the Branch Operations Manager at Wells Fargo In El monte. My recent visit to the branch was nothing short of a frustrating and unprofessional experience.Upon entering the branch, my wait time was unbelievably long. I had to wait for a staggering 45 minutes just to make a simple deposit. The lack of efficiency and organization was painfully evident, and it was clear that the branch was not adequately staffed to handle the volume of customers.To make matters worse, when I finally had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Alcala, I was met with a complete lack of knowledge and professionalism. I inquired about the current interest rates and CD rates, expecting a quick and informative response. However, Mr. Alcala seemed completely clueless and unprepared to provide me with the information I needed. His response was that he would "find out within a week." This level of ignorance and indifference is unacceptable for someone in a managerial position.Furthermore, Mr. Alcala displayed a shocking lack of basic customer service skills. There was no warm greeting, no welcome, and no attempt to make me feel valued as a customer. It was as if my presence in the branch was an inconvenience to him.In conclusion, my experience with Manny Alcala as the Branch Operations Manager was utterly disappointing and frustrating. The excessive wait time, his lack of knowledge, and his complete disregard for basic customer service made this visit to the branch an unpleasant one. I strongly urge the management of this branch to reconsider the leadership in place and take immediate steps to improve the overall customer experience.

Worst branch I've ever been to. Lines out the door. Always understaffed. Irene is not helpful. She tells you "you can take out up to 5k from the atms inside the branch" but then forgets to mention it's only with the physical card. So your forced to get back in line and wait an hour. To see a teller. Why have all those windows if only 4 are open.

Worst service of any bank I've ever used. I walked up at 4:59 (they close at 5) and they locked the door in my face. I'm a business client who does at least one million dollars in business there each year. I asked for the manager, Hector, and he just laughed at me. To top it off, the ATM outside was out of service. Time to find another bank.

If you're looking to sit down with a banker at your scheduled appointment time, then this branch is not for you. We had to wait 20 minutes for an appointment for someone who is not even our assigned banker. He comes out with hands in pockets while giving us attitude (barely tolerating us for just being there) and tells us that he even had to come in from another branch. It's understandable that short-staffing is a common issue in this season, but it does not give banking staff a reason to look down on customers and neglect good customer service. This branch also (according to one of the tellers) does not accept walk-ins, and claimed that other branches also do not accept them too. Guess what? One quick call to a nearby branch 1 mile away and they accepted our walk-in right away, and after 10-15 mins we were sitting down with a banker. You don't have to take bad attitude from the people at this branch. Try another. You deserve better!

What bank has 2 tellers working on a Friday? This one does, who has a line of customers outside 35 long at 4pm on a Friday? This one does. Simple business smarts would be to staff heavier on Friday's and Saturday's, obviously there is a demand and budget isn't a issue. Wont be coming back here.

Wells Fargo on Peck Road, staffs are not friendly. Banking at this location is quite a challenge, staffs are not approachable. It is extremely difficult to set an appointment over the phone which they encouraged customers to call for an appointment. I experienced many calls for an appointment but it was unsuccessful. I drove to the branch and noticed that many lazy staffs simply don't answer phone even though they're free.

Worst branch ever. Get competent staff. I explained my transaction and what I needed complete. The banker goes around in circle to update my information..... On top of that, she lacked competency. So, I guess I should be glad she didn't finish my transaction. But next time, I'll bill her for my time. I drive 30 minutes away from my local Wells Fargo bank to another location, where I can be in and out, and get the job done. No we all don't want to tell you about our day. Save the small talk.

I went just to pick up a temporary card which can de done less than 10mins instead I waited outside in the hot sun for an hour for them to tell me I needed an appointment they also told me to call the 1800# and that they in customer service can send me one in 24hrs when I called customer service they said that is not true these people on this branch are deceiving this is why they have such a bad rap bad customer service there don't go there after waiting an hour I went to another branch which gave me one in 10mins no wait time I will never go there again if you don't want a bad experience go to another those people don't know how to deal with the public as I'm writing this I am on hold for 15mins trying to talk to the manager and still no answer ugh I hate this bank never again save yourself the trip horrible customer service!!!

Horrible customer service at this branch! I'm a business client and have been treated badly on several occasions. Visited today in order to make several large deposits and asked service manager, Claudia, if I could have a few deposit slips. She had a snarky attitude and informed me that they were only for internal use and need to be ordered for a business. I've been a Wells Fargo client for many years and have never heard of such a policy as I have always been given a couple every time I visit. I called another branch and they informed me that there's no need to order deposit slips as a business unless we needed them in bulk, which we do not only a reasonable amount. The unprofessionalism is egregious at this branch! This interaction and ones that we shrugged off in the past won't go unnoticed this time as action will be taken.

I made an appointment with the notary at the bank, I first called and was told she was unavailable and will call me back. Jessica called me back within the hour to set up the appointment for the next day. I came in the following day and was greeted by Jessica who told me Enedelia would be helping me out. She was very helpful and personable. This branch is much more in tune with their clients and other local branches I have visited.
