Although this location is the closest to me, I will no longer be returning due to how I was treated. I came in on June 4th, and as soon as I entered. I immediately followed and asked if I needed help finding something. ( By the younger woman there) I told her I needed dye and proceeded to look. She immediately said "We sold out in that color" It wasn't even the one I was looking for, so I walked to another section, and of course she followed me, and did not take her eyes off of me. I felt so uncomfortable, I wanted to get the hell out. So much so,, that I forgot to get gloves and a couple of other items. The checkout was just as uncomfortable and unpleasant because I felt rushed by her judgment and bad attitude. I've never encountered anything like this before at this location, but next time, I'll drive out to the new Baldwin Park location. They are very nice there.

These reviews confirmed what I was feeling. Part of me thought, "maybe I'm tripping, maybe I'm not being followed." But yes, 100%. I even tested it out. Back story, when I walked in with my 18 month old. I had bo purse, just umbrella, kid and card in my pocket (ie, there was no way for me to steal if I wanted to). I wasn't greeted, but was told to put my umbrella away, then she didn't ask what I was looking for. But no big deal. I told her what I needed. She showed me, then asked if I wanted a basket I said sure. Brings me the basket, I even called her back to ask a question, but then eventually she parked herself on the same aisle "organizing". I didn't think anything of it at first till she was there the whole time I was researching and trying to figure out which hair product I wanted to get. And managing a busy 18 month to make sure he doesn't knocked down everything he sees. After realizing she wasn't moving, I tested it and went to another aisle and walked around for a bit. I wasn't followed so I'm like ok maybe I'm being paranoid. Then I go back to my original aisle to make sure I got what I wanted. She appears again! So now I'm like, "if she follows me to this next aisle then I'm leaving". Sure enough 2 mins go by I'm on the next aisle, she shows up to wipe down an aisle then leaves. To wipe down a shelf?!!! Not all just one, then left. I watched her the whole time like "are you serious?!" I left my basket there, picked up my baby, and umbrella and walked out the door. One thing about me, I will never spend my time or money in a place that makes me feel as if I am not valued as a person. And this goes for Sally's in El Monte too! I don't care how terrible my hair looks right now lol. Just missed out on at least a $100 sale cause I got stuff for me and my kids. Wish I could give 0 stars.

The reviews are right the workers at this Sally's are very judgmental. They need to hire better people cause they're losing business

Staff was following protocol and all wearing masks, I felt safe. I walked in there with no idea what to buy for the idea of dying the front of my hair blonde. All staff was very polite specially Shelly who greeted me as soon as I walked in and very kindly helped me choose everything I needed. I was very pleased with my results. Thank you so much, highly recommended this specific store if you like 1-1 attention.

the workers here, on 5-15-21 at 6:15 pm, are SO judgmental and the minute i walked in today for my visit, they stared me down so harshly. They followed me and my family members around the store as if we were going to STEAL. beware of wearing comfortable clothes here because me, as a minor, was so judged for being "bummy" while on my quick errand. they were talking about their personal lives in front of all the customers out loud and they were very unmannered at the cash register. handing out our bags and receipts with attitude. it was so uncomfortable and I never want to shop here ever again. UNCOMFORTABLE, UNWELCOMING, AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

The staff is horrible lmao girls who are rude and you guys should of updated your store hours so you don't have people driving far just to come to this Sally's thinking it's open. I already bought my stuff online and they couldn't do anything lmao never again am I buying anything from sallys

F*** this place!! After paying for everything I quickly asked the cashier if ion 20 developer would work with bleach powder. My cashier begins to tell me that it won't lift as much because of the brand, and so I ask to exchange it with salon care. She helps me get a bottle but it's vol 30.. I told her I don't need 30, just 20 is fine. Then the cashier next to her chime in and both of them begin to attack me? I'm not one to leave reviews but my friends and I found it so uncomfortable. After reading the other reviews I'm sure that we are all talking about the same two women.

I called to place items on hold to pick up, ( during vivid times) and they were sooooo helpful! They gave me the best advice on product and ways to take care of my hair after I use the bleach and dye.

This is just sad and embarrassing for who ever runs this store. Do you not check your yelp reviews!? Look how many bad reviews you have. You are definitely hiring the wrong people to work for this company, you know how many more people would probably come if the people working here had better attitudes and would help customers out? Definitely needs better management.
