ARMIDA with this credit union is the absolute horror of a human. If you insist on opening a specialty account with this credit union then deal with Aleyda. This lady is the epitome of grace. She goes beyond her means to help a customer in need.

I wanted to withdraw some money that I needed urgently, and their system has been down for 2 days and they couldn’t provide any update. No reputable financial institution will leave their customers hanging. I will have to take my money somewhere else where I know it will be safe and ready to take out the minute I need it!!!

In All Honesty like why work in customer service if you hate customers, Very rude entitled employees that Jacob guy wasn't friendly, not informative and made me not want to return... they lack professionalism and every employee acts like it's "THEIR" own bank lol cut the attitude people and read your yelp reviews your attitudes are HORRIBLE

We went in to open bank account and we didn't have appointment. It was fairly quick. They run your credit to open bank account which I found odd but they have great interest rates for their customers so it's worth it. We were done by 30 mins. We had filled out most information online so it made it quicker.

Just very unwelcoming and unhelpful. I just wanted to deposit a check and instead of letting me know they couldnt deposit it for me (cuz i wanted to put it in another credit union account, atm was down) they just went over to fix the atm machine for like 20 minutes instead of just saying come back later. Waste of time dude, if its not working just start off with "plz come back later" instead of me waiting there and dont act snobby like I'm impatient like geez I bank with u too.

The only reason I'm still a member at this branch is because of Lorraine. As a representative of L.A. Fed CU she is welcoming, professional, informative & connects to the needs of established clients. Not trying to make a sale or quota. She always has a smile & is welcoming not like the other reps. that look miserable or having personal conversations with a lack luster to assist. Lorraine is an asset to the branch & should be acknowledged so.

Always super helpful and nice. I never have to wait long and it's always easy to get through on the phone. I'm with them for life.Though if their social media team could get a 20% raise for being cool, that'd be good too.

I was waiting in line since 10:44 am today and somebody just signed me in at 11:05 am after waiting for the customer service representative and just waited 20 minutes and when I asked they said another 15 minutes since the other lady was on break! I had to leave to attend to other errands and coming back had to re register again and wait another person to complete. Such a waste of time!

Veronica Bautista was a great help, she helped my daughter with her loan. She is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She made the process very easy for my daughter and explained each step of the process. Just a great experience overall.

I would like to give Jacob Esqueda a commendation for his excellent customer service at the Los Angeles Federal Credit Union in El Monte. Jacob was very courteous, kind, knowledgeable, patient, efficient and most helpful with my withdrawal from my checking account, cashier’s checks, for the $20 donation toy for kids and signing up for a Visa credit card. I truly appreciate the most helpful and great customer service Jacob provided to me.

Worst place to get a loan, even though I got the loan from them and after a while my home to value is more that 80% they refuse to cancel my PMI becuae they are saying there is no substantial improvement in your home, I paid for appraisal again and my equity is more that 20% and based on home protection act they suppse to cancel the PMI but they dont

I usually have a good experience at LAFCU but last 2 time was horrible. The teller, Anh, was not friendly and helpful. When I asked questions, she was not trying to understand why I am here and what kind of information would be helpful - her execution was very transactional and at the end, she confused me a lot of whole process... At the end, she just said "It is up to you..." I had to stand one hour while she is doing process... maybe they should let other tell to do the job where customer can sit if its going to be longer process. Honestly, she can do better.
