“This is a throwback to the old fashioned Hardware Store from years ago, before the big box stores (Home Depot, etc) showed up. Fifty years ago, there ware half a dozen of them in the local area, now just two that I know of... I stopped in here recently for a special item.Noticed first that they have EVERYTHING .. the store is packed with every kind of item. Next, there was alot of helpful bilingual staff for such a small shop. Also noticed quite a few contractors in the aisles, shopping for hard to find items. I've been back several times now ... more conveniently located than the local big box places.”

“I love this staple business of our town. Sometimes I find the best prices compared to larger retail chains or even the big retailer on line. They have mostly everything you need and it is a reminder of a time when days were better. I went there with my dad a lot growing up in El Monte. I would even go as far to say it is a historical business and building in El Monte.”

“Today I went in with my boyfriend to make him his set of keys for the house so he can have his own. We asked a worker in front where do we go make the keys I didn't get his name but he told us. We went to the kiosk and here comes the district manager Richard asking us if we need help. We said yes. He made 4 keys for us today. He was so friendly and helpful. He even got our names and shook our hands. He made the visit very helpful. Thank you to district manager Richard!”
