I bought a Holley from this shop 650 and my car never ran right was never able to be tuned then found out it wasn’t rebuilt so I took it back they kept it for 4 days then the same cycle carb was never opened and I ended having to buy a brand new one from the parts store super annoying plus they charged me $80 for the service to never fix it…

The guy behind the counter was friendly to talk to but prices are super high compared to other places. Went elsewhere got the same work done for half the price don't want to pay an arm and a leg for carb work they see a classic car and want to raise the price.

Horrible customer service! Martin is rude and unprofessional. These guys don’t stand on their product! Don’t care about their customers. All the negative reviews here are showing to be true with my experience. Spent $350 and they wanna charge me another $100 to adjust my carb because I’m just one week out of their guarantee. Do not come here!

These guys are the real deal. I spent countless hours trying to find a rebuild kit to do this myself, but what I ordered a few times did not match what I have. What do you do when you have a 1st gen 327 in a Toyota Landcruiser? Due to my 2bl Rochester not having any markings, took photo's and sent them in. They had my exact rebuilt carb in stock. Extremely clean, very pleased with all new internals and gaskets. What had me sold on this company is their long list of "what's been done to this carburetor" AND Live engine testing to preset the idle. Smelled a hint of fuel when I received the carb in a very well packaged box, so I know it was live tested. They also say "we can promise you the curb idle will be set for a plug-n-play set up", which was another big reason I chose these guys. I installed the carb, once fuel got past the filter and into the carb, it fired right up perfectly. It took a total of 2-1/2 tries to start her up. Had there been fuel in the carb already, would have fired up on 1st try. This is on an engine that sat for 7 months without being fired up. As they promised, idle was perfect, actually better than before. Since this vehicle is used off-road, I'll probably end up ordering another one to have as a spare. Carburetor Center was very patient with me in asking many questions prior to ordering also, which was cool. Very happy customer, will definitely recommend them, and use again!

I purchased an old car knowing that I would face some challenges in trying to get it registered. Never did I think that the problems I would face would be finding honest and reputable shops near my residence.I’m very handy and can repair almost anything. Rebuilding a carburetor, I’ll pass on that one. But I found myself in a situation that is unfortunate and decided to remove my carburetor and find a business that specializes in rebuilding them. So I did. I had to commute to El Monte and I’m so glad I found this shop. Their only business is rebuilding carbs. The employees I dealt with were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They answered all of my questions and my carburetor was rebuilt to it’s original OEM specs. I know this because they test and run my carb on their specially designed machine to ensure that the carb operating correctly. I dropped my carb off on Monday 2/13 and picked it up Thursday 2/16.How much did I pay, you ask? $216.00. Considerably so much less than the estimated ms I was given at Bernardo’s shop in Highland Park. I’m sorry that’s incorrect. Bernardo’s I paid in full for a new carb $700, and as of this writing those crooks have not called me to to notify me that my brand new card has arrived and they are ready to install it. I understand why they have not called and they will not call, because they lied to me in regards to me purchasing a brand new carb. They are no longer produced.Not a problem I’m glad I paid with a credit card. My bank is investigating and I have no doubt my $700 charge will be reversed.No need for me to bring up the other shops. Simply read my other 2 reviews on them.Now I will install my carb and have to find an honest Star Certified Smog and Repair station to proceed with my vehicle registration. Wish me luck finding one. Clearly they are not easy to find.Thank you Carburetor Exchange Center in El Monte!!!! More businesses should emulate your business practices and fair pricing.

This place is the Best. I've had a few in the past carburetors rebuilt by the Carburetor Exchange. All excellent work. Well last week I had another one done. I had a little concern. Returned and explained my concern. Solved on the spot. And I waited for it. Not even 30 minutes. Thanks Carburetor Exchange. Highly Recommended. And I will definitely use their service again.

What a bunch of Hackers ! So many issues regarding my rebuilt Edlebrock 4106 for my 75 Dodge Hippie van . Cant even list em all without blowing a gasket in my own brain ! After cracking open the job (oops sorry you'll void the warranty) and discovered they only replaced the needles and seats and one gasket for $200 cash. Nothing was set up correctly to specification , and parts were left out. They will make it look pretty with their sonic cleaning machine but it wont work right. Save your money and buy a new one . You will be almost be close to half the cost of a new one in the box . I had to buy a couple of rebuild kits and learned how to rebuild these on You Tube , a monkey could have done a better job .

Unbelievable service for your carburetors. Staff is very personable, and the expectations are 100%. They do what they say. Before and after photos...I can't wait to reinstall it in my truck and get her running again.
