Wow this place has like everything you need at a hardware store. Half of the stuff is ancient but all assortments of bolts and screws, etc. But I actually came for the bagels. The salmon bagel was definitely the best but twice the price of the bacon egg bagel, but for good reason! Still comes out cheaper than most places and it's all handmade and warm. We walked a mile from our hotel in the wind for this, mainly to get some exercise and fresh air but so worth it. Ate it back at our hotel.

After a quick swim at Surfers Beach, I needed a hot coffee. I called into this coffee shop and was served a fresh, hot, double espresso which was very tasty. I have no idea what type of coffee bean it was but it did the trick! On a side note, the hardware section could be great but looks like it’s in need of restocking and brightening up …but I was there for coffee only!!

What a gem of a neighborhood café and mini 7-11/harware store. They have a very unusual 4-cup pour-over coffee station and around 20 different kinds of coffee. I had Guatemalan coffee poured over at jyst the right temperature (187° F). The lox n cream cheese bagel was great. Pleasant and quiet outside seating area.

I was made aware today that the current owners bought this business only a year ago. All the old and any poor reviews are from previous management. Coffee is family roasted, sandwiches are excellent and service is great since all workers are mom, dad and family.

We were across the street at the best BBQ place in the Bay Area, apparently. We never did find out because they ran out of meat at 2, lol. BUT because we parked in front of this little place, had to go check it out ... After all, who can resist picking up some hardware aiming with a sandwich and chips, they're in some good old fashioned coastal cider and your god to go :-) The plot thickens because.... Drumroll--we used to live here and collect our mail at the post office box in El Granada! But when we were here ages ago, this adorable and quaint little shop did not exist. Wish it had been because think: a shop from yesteryear, kinda like Little House on the Prairie, a rural town with a store that carries everyday goods and foods and finds and household stuffs you'd need to make a life for yourself. Or the Waltons ... such a charming little place. We did not get a sandwich which they have and you can customize, but we got a coffee AB's of all things, a little broom come dust pan thingie. Loooooooove this little place--the folks friendly and the prices right. Plenty of Parking up from ... no big city ideas here, in a good way :-)

I entered the store for the first time looking for some tools I was missing and the young who attended me was super helpful he went by name Jesus. Even after helping me find my tools I noticed they sold sandwiches. The young man ( Jesus) made me one of the best sandwiches ive ever had. Would recommend super helpful.
