I absolutely loved our visit at EDH Pet Clinic. They took the time to really get to know my cat, asked great questions, provided insights that haven’t been suggested before and had a clean nice smelling office. I wouldn’t change anything:-)

The two Dr. Garden’s, a husband and wife team, have been working effectively together caring for our two pets for a number of years. Rossi our cat since they purchased the practice from Dr. Strohauer (2012?) and LuLu our dog since 2018. I appreciate they take the time to explain in detail the cause and effects of various health factors that affect our pets lives. Also, having Dawn on staff is a great asset‼️ She’s available to help us at any time with pet related issues.

My wife and I were inconvenienced, frustrated, and at times a little weirded out by our business with this place. We left each visit scratching our heads. And after spending a year establishing care and attempting to get all the shots for our pup, my wife and I are now currently awaiting a phone call from the vet as to why they are denying to see our 1 year old dog suffering from an eye problem and needing his 1 year shots. The front desk is denying care and telling us to go somewhere else! We are understanding people with busy schedules who have been greatly inconvenienced by this place. Bottom line: unless it’s your last resort, go somewhere else.

No longer using this facility. Cold, uncaring and untrained. My husband brought in our Heeler for a routine annual flu shot. The lady administering the shot was TERRIFIED and couldn't even properly administer the shot (she fell backwards, it was laughable). Our dog wasn't even acting aggressive and was quite calm considering the situation. Her behavior made us and him confused and concerned. My husband was so irritated he was about to ask her if he could give our dog the shot. The lady at the front looks too busy to be bothered, you feel like a complete burden. If you have a healthy dog that doesn't require any particular medical attention, they will deliver the bare minimum. I wouldn't trust them for anything more than routine checkup and vaccinations.

Dr. Garden and Dawn are wonderful to work with. We recently had to make a difficult decision with our 15 year old dog and felt supported and comforted through the whole process. We will continue to entrust the care of all of our furry family members to them. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a great vet!

If you want to be charged an office visit upfront then this is your place. Make darn sure you get there on time and I mean you cannot be a little late. I was fifteen minutes late. Personally I had to use the bathroom on the way so I had to pull over, I wasnt feeling good. They will refuse to see you and charge you anyway. They don’t answer the phone, was during business hours, so if something happens like an emergency, which they dont care about, they charge you anyway. Do you want to male another appointment? Ok, thats another 52.00 upfront. Nice little racket they have going on here. I want to mention, when I arrived, it was me and one other client in the building. The place was not busy. Hmmmm? First time client and the last time I will be in there. A clients time is important too. I cannot tell you how many times I have waited a half an hour or more to see the veterinarian. We are at the mercy of these people because we love our pets so much but don’t take advantage of me. Also now my pug has her rash still and has to wait. If these people cared about animals they would have been more flexible. Money is the only priority.P.s I did call to say I was late. Nobody answered and nobody was at the front desk when I arrived. I even said if they could not see me then call back so I could reschedule. So to me there is zero excuse for thisI am not an entitled person. I am rarely late but that day my IBS was kicked up.

All our fur babies (3 dogs and 1 cat) receive amazing care from Dr. Garden and all the staff. I have been taking our babies to El Dorado Hills Pet Clinic for decades!

NOPE NOPE NOPE. Scheduled an appointment to get my cats vaccines updated. I always took them to VCA Loomis which we loved but we moved to EDH and needed a new vet. Showed up with my 2 cats and was told the appointment was next week. They don't have an online scheduling system so no confirmation emails. Overall the place looked dingy and not well taken care of. Staff was rude. Apparently they charge you for the visit in advance so if you have to cancel make sure you do it at least 48 hours before so they don't charge you anyway. I felt like they should have told me they were charging me beforehand. Seems dishonest. Overall just bad vibes. I was honestly kind of glad to leave with my pets. Not sure I would trust these people with them. Immediately booked a visit at another vet in the area. Would give zero stars if I could.

The office is always neat and clean. Everyone is very professional while, at the same time, giving quality service and care to the animal. As an owner I always feel that they take the time to listen to my concerns and comments. I am very happy with everyone one and everything about the clinic.
