“What a great community amenity - has everything you could need or want with some great Middle Eastern ingredients as well. Produce is top notch and affordably priced. I can’t see myself going to another grocery store!”
“Great Restaurants, amazing Staff front staff and the kitchen staff too. Thanks???Highly recommend this placeI don’t eat there that much but I’m happy in every thing I bought from there. Kemma are my best dish from there taste really good If you try something there that you didn’t like then I highly recommend trying different dishes.”
“The produce is amazing! The tea and bulk section always has something new to me! The purple potatoes I got here the last time were amazing. I hope there is tea leaf salad the next time I come!”

2948 Martin Luther King Jr Way, Berkeley“Great Customer Service and Sandwiches I Bought a Dutch Crunch Bread with Beef Salami and Turkey and everything thing on it Excellent Flavor and Taste and freshness THX a 10”
“I love Berkeley Bowl because they have fabulous fruits and vegetables - - both organic and conventional. They are really on top of their produce. There are lots of people working there to keep it clean. They have discounted produce that is super ripe--ready to take home and use.I prefer going early in the morning when it's less crowded. I find their aisles to be rather narrow when someone is coming the opposite direction. It can be hard to socially distance in their isles. They have lots of variety. They have fresh fish (wild and farmed) and meat (organic and conventional). I have found the butchers to be friendly and helpful. If you are a senior, they will give you a good cup of coffee (part of my morning ritual if I am there in the morning). They have a very nice bakery if you have a sweet tooth.Their cheese section has cheese from around the world. Besides the bakery with wonderful tasting desserts, they have fresh bread. There deli has Asian foods, Mexican, and desserts. During Covid times--take out only. They clean their shopping carts between uses, and don't let too many people in at once. You put your own groceries into your own bag--unless you buy a paper bag and they then bag it for you.For me, it is kind of a cross between a coop and a large grocery store. I love what they have to offer!!!”
“I love the worker on the register really kind and nice and looks like luigi. Luigi also told me about the wings and fries everything was very tasty just like Luigi ?”
“I LOVE This Store It's A Hidden Gem ? For The Golden Gate Residence And We Are Blessed To Be Able To Get Fresh Meat ? ? Fresh Fruit ?? And A Huge Selection Of Family Household Favorites ? Thank You Gazzali's Express Lots Of Parking ?️ And Extremely Safe Relaxing Shopping Experience”
“Great Latin store, with good merchandise, and variety of products. It has ample parking and I always find good specials and what I need close to home I always find”
“This locally owned market has a great selection of groceries and is impeccably clean. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. I'm glad I popped in and did my shopping here this week.”
“Very friendly staff and surprisingly large selection. Yes, the price is high, but it's a family shop in one of the most expensive locations in the world. The prices aren't much worse than Safeway, and you're supporting a loved institution. Great spot to restock on bits and bobs you might need for dinner.”
“It is a reasonably priced Indian sweets store. I love sweets myself but one must be cautious of weight gain and other health issues as everything is sky level sweet. My favorite is gulab jaman.”

3426 Fruitvale Ave, Oakland“Love this place. The only negative is the area is being destroyed by criminals (like all of Oakland) so its not comfortable to take your time and shop you want to grab what you need and get out of dodge”
“With the number of grocery shopping options on Stockton Street, it's easy to overlook this 3-in-1market. Given the store size, you won't find a comprehensive variety of produce or products. It's a backup shopping spot for me when I'm unable to find vegetables or cooking ingredients either at that SoCal based chain supermarket or other neighboring stores. They have fish tanks in the rear area behind the cashier counter and back right corner while the meat section is along the right wall towards the front as you walk in. In the center area, you'll find open freezer bins with various seafood like abalone, oysters, mussels, scallops, and sea cucumber as well as packed fish balls and other processed seafood products. I've come here a couple times when my normal shopping spot didn't have okra. I come here normally when I can't find okra. I can't vouch for their meats and seafood price and quality wise as I have not bought from those sections. Good backup spot for me.”

2286 35th Ave, Oakland“Small but this store is packed with every thing u could think of and more.. the owner just did a complete remodel of the store it's so nice inside... lighting and new artwork .. any bottle of liquor that you are looking for they have... nice big wine beer and mixed drinks .. section as well.. 1537 Webster St, Alameda“My friend is constantly looking for some Eastern European food. She also lives in MN and has been craving to get back to this place which we went to yesterday. My god, the potato pie here made by someone that works here is just astounding. You can get in the market in the frozen food section. We had some beef sausages and found some plum wine that looks amazing although she said it might taste a bit like ether. She's going to share some with her brothers when she sees them in a couple of days. I'll be back when out of town friends come to visit to spoil them with homemade treats.”
6AM - 10PM
2314 High St, Oakland“Wanted a couple beef shanks and trying to avoid Cardenas cuz that place can be a zoo esp on weekends. Found this place on yelp and called ahead. Got two meaty frozen shanks. Cooked a soup. Will return and try other items.”

723 Pine St, San Francisco“This store is a "diamond in the rough". From the outside it looks small, but inside it is packed with wine, water, sodas and other beverages. They also have a wide variety of snack items, food, and household goods. The clerk was kind and very helpful. #greatnotsolittlemarket”
“I wanted a simple breakfast back in my hotel room and this place was perfect. They have fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and oatmeal packets. The couple behind the counter was super helpful!”
“Tofu and bean sprouts are some of my food staples, which I normally buy at Bay Area supermarkets. There are several brands in the market, but I prefer Wo Chong, which is a brand I grew up with as it was the brand my parents used. Wo Chong is fourth generation San Francisco business since 1935 that produces tofu and bean sprouts, soy bean sprouts, clover sprouts and onion sprouts. It's one of several Chinatown institutions still in operation. The store is very basic with displays of fruits and produce. On the left case are the fresh bean sprouts that you can buy pre-bagged or loose at $.85/lb and the packages of tofu in silken, soft and firm textures at $1.25. At the counter, there are two types of tofu you can buy by the piece at $1.50 and $.25 each. They also sell fresh soy milk and noodles too. I will now be stopping at Wo Chong when I'm in Chinatown to get my tofu and bean sprouts. Can't get any better than getting it from the source and at lower prices than the store and markets than sells them.”
“I love this little market. It has everything you would expect at a convenience store plus a lot more, including produce. I typically stop here for snacks, wine, or just for something I forgot to grab at the supermarket. One of the things I like best about this place is the extensive wine and beer selection as well as the fact that every single wine bottle has a price sticker on the top of it so I'm never wondering.”
“The perfect convenience store for when you're on Oak St towards Octavia to US-101 or I-80 and the Bay Bridge. You can easily stop for the necessities during your commute street parking is easy, and the staff are super friendly. For my commute it's a pint of Haagen-Dazs, a Gatorade and a bag of Kettle brand chips for the days when there is traffic.. Let's just say I eat a lot of ice cream. What's your favorite snack during a long commute?”
8:30AM - 5PM
325 10th St, Oakland“24+ eggs for $10?! Inflation proof! Buy everything here for your daily cooking needs, very friendly staff. It does get very crowded so if you mind a little shoulder-to-shoulder bustle then have someone else grab your goodies because you’re going to want to give this spot a gander.”
“This is our favorite place to go for a whole side of Salmon when it's on sale. It's typically $10.99 or $11.99 per pound when it's on sale. And it is just delicious when it cooks up.”
