This is our local spot for hay, treats, and pellets for our Ziggy Smalls! We stopped purchasing from Amazon and SPS, due to poor quality of 2nd cut Timothy...Ziggy was basically using it as his litter vs eating it. purchasing local here, supports his mission and ensures a safe haven for rabbit and Guinea pig owners so we feel good about coming here. We adore James and he's always helpful and kind when we visit. He was able to give advice when Ziggy had too much "wet poop", even after changing his daily amount of fresh greens. Thank you James! We also found out about them via local Facebook group: "rabbits of the Bay Area".

Stopped by this past weekend, and the door was locked, but there's a sign to call or knock for them to open it. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and patiently answered my questions about their services, informing me that nail trims are 10 bucks per bunny but they gotta be vaccinated. Adorable rabbits in the back (adoption by appointment only... I assume they have bunny boarding too). I got some 3-way hay which comes by the flake (about 4 pounds). It's a combination of wheat, oat, and barley, which my bunnies are absolutely addicted to. The shop is pretty small if just looking for bunny toys and treats, but if you want fresh quality hay for cheap, they have plenty and a good variety! Also, free and easy street parking on a Sunday afternoon.

Rabbit Ears offers seasonal, fresh hay straight off the hay hill at less that any of that pre packaged stale hay you find at your convenient pet store. They have an excellent selection of bedding, toys, and also offer housing as well for when your away from home. An ardent staff will greet you with hospitality and knowledge on how to help your little furry friends!

I’m disappointed in myself that I haven’t written a review to this place yet!! I’ve been going to this place for years and it’s been a fantastic experience every time. It’s the only place I can get the right food and accessories for my chinchillas. The staff there are wonderful people, always kind and friendly. I’m always happy spending my money there.

We boarded our two Dutch rabbits at RabbitEARS for 8 days. They didn't complain so I am giving this place a 5 star.

I’ve boarded my two guinea pigs multiple times, and I know they’ve always been cared for so lovingly. The staff always ask if they’ve had their pellets and Vitamin C when I drop them off, so you know that they are knowledgeable about guinea pig care. Winnie and Tofu will be back for their vacation soon - thank you James and team!!

We adopted 2 rabbits from here. One named Tobi and another named Gabby. They get along so well. But to the actual review, it is a cool place to hang out with bunnies or adopt one. All of them are treated well and have big free roam cages available.

A small animal rescue shelter with boarding, adoption, pet supplies and grooming/nails. Lovely people working hard to keep a good thing going on the community. If you're looking for a new friend to add to the family, this is a great place to learn more about keeping rabbits, guinea pigs and small mammals.

Boy, the owner is like a rabbit GURU. Such a good resource to have for bunny owners. Believes in the products he sells bc he knows the best practice. Also they have grooming services and boarding.

They really know about rabbits and take excellent care of them. I take my rabbit for nail trims and have boarded him there once. Love this place. Everyone who works there is super knowledgeable and cares about your rabbit.

Well my initial call was for to adopt two pet rabbits They responded immediately The conversation was very polite & informative Unfortunately they are not allowing interviews until the end of April & welcomed me to set up & appointment at that time They were very nice & thoughtful I'm not buying an "Easter rabbit " but pets So I'm willing to wait although I've already bought my hutch etc I appreciated the hospitality They have great info on how the process works & seems like they really want these rabbits have good homes That I appreciated! So if you are looking for any pet to adopt I think you will be pleased Will let everyone know when I can bond with my rabbit & how it worked

Rabbit Ears Rescue were incredibly helpful and responsive when I contacted them about a potential need for an emergency boarding of pets for a client escaping domestic violence. They clearly had high standards of care for the pets they board and while we did not end up requiring their services, I would recommend them highly.
