Ronnie and Ed were incredibly helpful when it came to changing my car's battery! they not only provided with complimentary battery charging, but when it turned out I needed a new battery, they were more than happy to help me replace the battery, they gave me tools as well as the best and cheapest purchase options. thank you!

This review is for the young man who helped turn my bad day to a good one. I went in to buy wiper blades as mine were shredding in the rain and the fellow at the counter looked up what size I needed and told me which ones were better, commiserated with me when I could only afford the cheaper ones, and offered help to install the new ones. He kindly explained how to replace them so I know how to do it later and it was done in minutes. Customer service is a hard thing to come by lately and this was above and beyond and exactly what I needed to turn my day around. Looked at my receipt and maybe his name was Ed? Thank you for employing good people.

Bad batteries at O'Reilly Auto Parts I've bought my car batteries at O'Reilly Auto Parts before and they've performed well ... one even lasted 8 years. But no more. I bought another Super Start Premium Battery at the O'Reilly store across from El Cerrito Plaza (9989 San Pablo Avenue, El Cerrito) and it failed during its meager 2-year warranty period. So I returned it to the store and they gave me a new battery that an employee, Miriam, said would carry a one-year warranty. It failed in less than a year. So I took it back to the store. Before driving over, I called and spoke to Yony, explaining the warranty situation. He said to bring the battery in, they would test it and if it's bad, would replace it. I returned to the store. After more than an hour of testing, Daniel confirmed the battery was bad. When I asked for a new one he refused, saying the warranty for the first battery had expired. Yony seemed to have forgotten the details of our earlier conversation about the warranties. Miriam, who had told me the replacement battery had a one-year warranty, wasn't there. I'd bought a battery at Home Depot that carries a better warranty and lower price and have put it in the car. It's been running the car fine for a while now. (I have a multi-meter so I always know my battery's charge level.) I regret I had to spend so much time dealing with 2 defective batteries in a row, one of which lasted a year and 9 months, while the other gave out in less than a year. I also regret that two store employees made promises that were not honored. There are better places to buy batteries.

Got my battery tested and charged here by the younger caucasian short haired gentleman. Great and super friendly service and will be coming back for when I need a brand new battery!

Stay open the hours that are on your door or don’t post them. What a bunch of lazy workers.This is just sad. 15 minutes before close in a store that require no closing duties like cleaning a kitchen after close it pathetic. You should be ashamed of the management.

Came here looking for touch up paint and unfortunately they were out of stock. The store was clean and organized somewhat. I could easily find the paint section and it looked like they had lots of stuff for your car but maybe specific stuff might be out. Their inventory said there was one item left but no one could find it. I even went to another close by location and it was the same out come. At least the employees were helpful.

Outstanding customer service. I was seeking guidance for break fluid and saw an employee walk behind the counter, I said to him "are you on the clock?" And he replied "no." I nodded with a half smile and waved him off, he insisted, and said "how can I help?." Needless to say he put my needs before his, very gracious indeed, I only wish I caught his name.
