I like to shop there, but I'm really reconsidering since I got terrible customer service from Elise at the cutting table. She's arrogant and rude. I asked several times for different things and she didn't even acknowledged my questions.
On the other hand, a gentleman by the name of Alex was super amazing!! Thank you Alex for your excellent customer service.

Yeah, this place is a mess, rarely has the things in stock of which the website shows they have multiple, and of the few employees, the majority don't know where or what products they sell. But it's the only craft/ hobby store like this within miles, the hours are good, and most of the staff are nice. The line and wait times can be long, but I will point out that many customers have a million paper and online coupons they are trying to use, and the cashiers often try to help customers get whatever discounts they can, so as annoying as it is to be waiting in line while that takes place, I do think it's a plus for sure. Particularly since all those coupons can really make a difference. Sucks that they are no longer providing framing services, or at least that's what i was told (still shows up as a framing location on their website). Best time to shop here is evening if you want to avoid long waits, though leading up to holidays, all bets are off.

Called this store tonight to ask two questions;1. Can you check to see if this sewing machine that's showing in stock (1 available) is actually in stock, and can you hold it, before I drive over?2. Can you honor the online only discount as it won't let me order it online? When the phone picked up, the woman simply just said, "Hello, Joanne's, Hello? Hello????" Before letting me get a word in edge-wise. I thanked her for taking my call, asked the questions, and was met with a, "Oh. We don't have enough people here. No one can help you. Call back tomorrow."No, no I don't think I will. Michael's has a similar machine, and I'll go there instead.I have no doubt that you're understaffed, and as a millennial I understand, but this was above and beyond rude.

They have decent customer service. The reason I would give this place or company one star. Specifically this location because it a bunch of clutter mess. It looks more like a yard sale. I see workers spend more time putting out new inventory. The store is a jumbo mess. Everything is just unorganized. It looks like someone rummage the store. Everything is just messy. The location of things is so unorganized. In the middle of the yarn isles you have sewing stuff. Who manages this place. I would never waste my time at this store. Michaels and hobby lobby is way cleaner and clutter free. Only positive thing I could say was the employee seems friendly. They are total lost when you ask them question. They need to hire an overnight team to organized this store.

This is a miserable store. Lots of empty shelves, unpacked boxes everywhere, not very helpful staff. There are better JoAnn stores. This is not one of them.

Standing in line with about 40 others waiting to check out. (Line all the way back into the store...) Two cashiers. Staff organizing Xmas decorations (not urgent at all!) while we all angrily wait in line. Unbelievable.

Beware of Joey the fabric cutter. She has a poor attitude with a lack of customer service. Zero patience for someone whose only job is to cut fabric all day.

I went in for yarn. I took the last 2 Big twist Teal off the shelf and purchased it. I need 6 more. I asked the cashier if they knew if there was more, he said it says there was some delivered in July and if the shelf is empty than he doesn't know. Your cashier did not offer to have it shipped to me or find it in another store as what other locations have done. Why is it when I look it up online it says you have 29 left, before I even went into the store. I looked all over before I left and there were 2. Overall this trip was a complete waste of my time and this location needs help. I don't know why I thought it would be different going in this time when I always avoid going to this location. Fix it please. I never have this experience at your concord location and I will go there instead. You are losing out on sales from creators by not having your product on the shelf. Make it make sense.

Zero star rating! Longs lines as always. I wanted to purchase two rolls of ribbon..... BUT THE CASHIER WOULD NOT HONOR THE ADVERTISED DISCOUNT. Because they said , online, it says I had to by 5 roll of ribbon. Cashier Janice spoked with her manager and the manager confirmed I had to buy 5 rolls. I went and took a picture of the Sale Sign but the cashier still wouldn't honor it. Unbelievable. I asked to see the manager. When the manager arrived, I didn't get a "hello" and she just blurted out that she told the cashier to honor the discount. No apologies. No, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience ". I go back to the cashier and she said the Manager had not informed her of anything. She had to call the manager again. OMG!

I purchased over $70 of goods on Sept 23rd, unfortunately some of the items were 1/2" short, so needed to exchange approx. $45. Their paper receipt has been lost, but I have the Credit Card entry, which can be used for verification. (It does at 'Ross', 'Marshalls', Ikea, Safeway etc..) But it appears Joann's has outdated technology and will only provide credits with their paper receipt. I spoke to the manager, who was the cashier who checked me out - but alas, no give. Now I have product which I'm unable to use and I'm out $45. I will seek business elsewhere - Discount Fabrics is good!!

The service is so laid back here, people are comatose. Zombies crawl the isles waiting for their number to never come up at the fabric counter. Jayanna took 52 minutes to cut two pieces of fabric for a customer, standing around making inane chatter leaning up against the counter with her arms crossed. Over 7 of us stood waiting in line, staring in disbelief. People died and were reborn, civilizations began and ended waiting in that line. The management must not care about actually selling anything there. Jayanna definitely did not. Save your time and patience and shop elsewhere.
