Common areas are in good condition, my specific room had a toilet that would barely flush and sat tilted on the floor, a shower head that barely worked, and a drain that would not stay open unless propped up with a plastic cap. The vibe is definitely that you’re an inconvenience to be there. Not bad enough to leave mid stay, but not quality enough I’d stay again or recommend to others. Look elsewhere for accommodations if at all possible.

Excellent location and service. The rooms are remodeled from a older motel and have good beds, ac, water etc. The furniture is clean and the facilities well maintained. BART and shopping is very close, within an easy walk. I will stay there again and would recommend to anyone. No valet parking or bell boys but a great place for a family visit or business stay.

I've stayed here a half dozen times over the past 20 years, under three names and probably three managments. The location has been convenient for me, the rates reasonable, the rooms large and decently furnished -- although maintenance slipping a bit around the edges. Neighborhood is slow decline but doesn't feel unsafe in daytime Like many budget hotels they have dropped breakfast; coffee and pastry only and not until 7. Biggest gripe: They really should have in-room coffee for us early risers.Safety: Be cautious after dark.

My brother had stayed here and I have come to bring him his stuff a few times and every time there seemed to be someone sitting in a car waiting around acting weird. The location is a little sketchy looking from the entrance but it's in a decent enough area. I would probably give them 3 stars. I'm not impressed by the fact that it's right next to a main road and near the highway. It can be a little bit loud. However I will give them the fact that there is an amazing restaurant across the street. They are also very close to San Pablo Ave.Safety: When waiting for my brother two times, I felt very uncomfortable with the fact that there was always some guy sitting in his car (each time a different car and guy) and would just keep looking around. I just find it to be very bizarre behavior in a sketchy parking lot.

My company really picked a great place for us drivers to stay in. I stayed here for 2 days, and it was great. Nothing negative to say about this place, all positive. Very quiet, and peaceful. I haul US Mail, so I got my needed rest. Stores, market and restaurants walking distance, very convenient. Mini fridge and microwave both worked fine, good channels to watch on cable. This is the motel my company chooses, and Im glad they did for the future. Definitely looking forward to coming back to the peace and quiet and rest. I definitely recommend this place. God bless ?Rooms: Nice and clean, and room service was very friendly and helpful.Nearby activities: Jack in the box, Safeway market and churches chicken in walking distance.Safety: Very safeWalkability: 8 minute walk to the market and fast foodFood & drinks: Ice machine full and vending machines on each floor

The price was reasonable and the appearance was nice but those were probably the best things about the hotel. Overall I did not enjoy my stay. With check-in, I did not feel welcomed; instead, I felt like I was a bother to the clerk. He was sleeping in the back office when I arrived and I think that’s why he didn’t come across as friendly (I woke him up at midnight). One of the card keys didn’t work so when I asked him to re-code it he said it worked; it didn’t but it was too much trouble to force the issue. The floor in the room had stuff stuck to the carpet that should have been cleaned. The iron didn’t work properly and I couldn’t even adjust the heat because the dial was broken. The ironing board was bent. The iron was cabled to the board so I had to drag everything to the bathroom to put water. The toilet leaked (sound). The shower curtain was too long and wouldn’t close properly so I had be careful not to slip in the shower and clean the water on the floor because of the curtain. The hair dryer didn’t work and literally started smoking when turned on. The pillows were uncomfortable. The dresser drawers were sticky and wouldn’t close properly.Sorry for all the negativity but it was not a good experience.

Honestly I have a bit of a conflicting review, if you don't have any back issues and just need a place to sleep this is ok. Rooms look decent but bed/pillows are uncomfortable.First room first night my daughter and I didn't get 3 hours sleep which is rough for a teenager to complain.The refrigerator didn't work and appliances are overall old. I was "upgraded" to a room with 2 queen beds rather than the kingYou could smell the microwave as it was old and dingy but we slept a slightly better.Staff was nice but clearly frustrated I wasn't happy with the room. Once I got home and it took 3 days to get my back realigned I requested some kind of compensation which was declined due to the "upgrade"I wasn't looking for much but thought the price was high considering I only had the room to sleep in on vacation and wasn't really able to get a good night rest.On a positive note it is clean and staff was nice.

Very clean place, the beds were comfortable and the staff were helpful when I had an issue checking in with my apple card. Best part about this hotel is how close it is to BART and the freeway. The only negative is they give the bare minimum amount of shampoo in little foil packets. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was nice. The rooms were comfortable and cozy. What I didn’t like was the maid came in went through my stuff made one bed, and let the other a mess took things out of my room and left ,,,,,,the next day. She came in and told us it was 11 o’clock that we had to leave if we weren’t staying another night other than that it was a lovely trip except for the maids coming in my room and there’s no breakfast like they said it is on the Internet and how it is.

Love this place. Best value for money if you just need a place to stay. The staff are amazing and very accomodating. The best rooms would be facing Potrero Avenue - go grab your free coffee downstairs and observe all sorts of commuters coexist in that spicy intersection. It provides better entertainment than all the channels in your room’s TV combined. My wife and I will be coming back. Thank you, Mira Vista.P.S. please change the pillows they are too lumpy

Just spent three nights at the Mira Vista Hotel. The staff were very pleasant. The room was very large and clean and the bed was very comfortable .The hotel is very close to many excellent restaurants with delivery service and there is a long walking path nearby.I would certainly stay there again.walking path nearby.

FANTASTIC ROOM. Walking down the hallways to my room, I could smell the fresh laundry sheets and vaccum just being used. The room was very neat, cleaned, and comfortable. Service was great! Your in an area with alot of food options and your near the train.

If 0 or .5 stars was an option to rate this hotel, I would have chosen that hands down. WARNING: if you drive a nice car or a car worth stealing, it will be STOLEN right from this hotel's parking lot. You will provide info. to the clerk re your vehicle: license#, make/model/color so they can monitor who isn't suppose to be parked in their lot and the hotel is surrounded by cameras outside (that are working, but not monitored). So when your vehicle is stolen, the hotel will provide footage of the theft on video for the police AND free of charge. The room was extra shabby: filthy lounging couch that needed to be cleaned or trashed, long (hairs) all on the towels, floor not cleaned, holes in the blanket. Bottomline, if this was the only hotel available with vacancies, and after my experience with them, I would choose to stay with a friend or sleep inside my vehicle for the night. Their video footage will assist the police in helping to return your vehicle. My words of advice, DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS HOTEL, it's not worth the monies you will spend replacing your vehicle. 2 Thumbs down (or 3 thumbs down if I had 3 hands)!
