My favorite store, until the weekend manager wanted to argue over my right to exchange a defective product.
I spend thousands of dollars on this stuff, but it'll be a while before I use this store again.

Well, for me, I had a good experience with a tool I bought. I tried to return it because I lost a screw, but it had a lifetime warranty and they replaced it with a new one.

This store in particular seems to be in their game. I have the best luck in finding things in stock there. Bought some sanding equipment and painting tools. Great experience with the employees as well. Better than most.

Alright, listen up! If you’ve never been to Harbor Freight Tools in El Cerrito, you’re missing out on an experience, okay? This place is like the Wild West of tools. You walk in and it’s like, ‘Yeah, half of this stuff is probably gonna break after two uses,’ but who cares? It’s so damn cheap! You need a wrench set? They’ve got one for like five bucks. Sure, one of them might snap the second you look at it funny, but you’ve got nine more, so what’s the big deal?Now, let’s talk about the knockoff stuff. I’m telling you, some of this crap is so good, it’s almost criminal. You’re eyeing a power drill that looks suspiciously like a brand you know, but it’s, what, a tenth of the price? You think, ‘This thing’s gonna explode in my hand,’ but nope! It works like a charm! You feel like you’re getting away with something. It’s like finding out your favorite movie is on Netflix, but it’s the discount bin version, and you love it just the same.So yeah, Harbor Freight in El Cerrito—five stars. Come for the ridiculous prices, stay for the gamble on whether your tools will survive the weekend. But hey, when you’re paying pennies on the dollar, who’s complaining?
