Contacted regarding selling an autographed baseball. The woman that helped me over the phone was very polite and professional. unfortunately, Granters didn't purchase my item but it's all good. It was awesome to be able to call and send over a picture of my item before showing up and wasting time. Definitely will try them again on the future. Thanks

My first ever visit to a pawn shop. It was about what I expected. I wanted to sell an orange Yamaha AES 1500 electric guitar. They are listed on Reverb for somewhere in the $1300-1400 range. Of course I didn't expect to get that. The guy who helped me was courteous and took the guitar in the back to check it out. He told me that they had checked to see what the same model had actually sold for, which was as high as $1000 and as low as $800, which is about what I expected. What I didn't expect was their offer, $300. I understand that they need to make a profit but I would l think that 25% or so would be reasonable meaning that maybe they would pay me $600 or so. $300 seems insulting. I won't be going back there any time soon.

bad experience; if you are person of color do not go here; it is my belief staff is racists and there are better pawn shops that treat you with actual respect and dignity without trying to rob you or not being fair/reasonable

I wanted to sell a couple o jewellery items from an estate. It was my first time in a pawn shop. It was a very good experience! They were very nice all the way through.

Had a great experience first time with owner, went again last week and had a very bad experience, if you are a white person you will get treated fairly, if you are a person of color talk with the owner only he is cool however, the rest of the staff not the owner especially the male that was their yesterday it is my belief that he was very rude and I felt like he was being racist and uphold white supremacy for the way he treated me, and trying to take advantage, the first I brought in 100oz silver bar and coupled of silver rounds over 20 owner was cool gave fair value loan this second time I brought in a kilo silver bar, 3 10oz silver bars, 55 1oz silver bars and 5 silver rounds, the white dude was like it fake and we can't test it regarding the kilo bar, he then said had to cut it half and was like then and then he was i don't want to and can't and I was like ok then just give me what you can for the other items and I won't pawn the kilo they then tried to write 3 receipts charging $15 instead of just putting it one receipt or invoice, even though it is all silver bullion just in different forms, so then I was like ok just give me the bars and then they offered me less money at first it was $15 they said which isn't true and then because I wanted to just keep on receipt and just pawn items that fit in one receipt they then were like we can only offer you$14 however if I was a white person i belief this would not have gone like this people of color be careful because there are other places that will treat fairly and with equity this place is just trying to make as much from people of color and not being fair had a great experience first time and this is worst experience especially the staff that are not the owner silver bullion is silver bullion if you were able to test 100oz you can test a kilo and if you can't then you should be working at a pawn shop for lack of knowledge, you cannot offer say you offer $15 per oz which is a lie would have been $840, and offering in multiple receipts to charge $15 witting fee shady and okay, and then I was like I am just going to pawn the bars then only offer me $700 when it was 50oz of silver at $15 was $750 and only want to give me $700 because I took some silver back only 5 piece they then wanted to give me a $1 less and ask respectfully and please if they can do $715-$720 and were very rude and said no so i did not pawn other places that will treat you with dignity and better places do not go here unless owner is there They said had to done multiple invoices because different items not true, silver bullion is silver bullion regardless if in coins or bars, when I went the first time I had multiple silver bullion in a big 100z bar and lots of silver rounds and all put in one receipt not okay and will consult with legal attorney and California state law and federal law and make a complain with proper agency and if i have a case then will take to small claims for fraudulent claims because i do not believe that what they told me is true and were just being racist and discriminatory to take advantage or not do business but again i no longer want to do business' with people like these

The young lady is friendly, but the older male adult is not.He didn’t speak nor give eye contact upon entrance.As the young lady was checking my item value, I started to leave, but it would of been rude to waste her time.She asked him a couple of questions and when he assisted her, he still didn’t speak or give eye contact.He said something to her and she offered me a price.I had researched my item and its value online and knew what they offered me was less.I thanked them and went to other pawn shops in the bay area the same day and next.There are a lot of shops in the bay area.Research your item(s) value online before trusting pawn shops integrity.
