Really great customer service and a wide array of products. Isaac specifically was super helpful, and when they were out of crawdad traps he told us how we can make one on our own!

I brought my son here to get stuff for our first fishing trip. They helped me select some low cost options for a kid. I didn't know what I needed but they patiently showed me all the parts of a fishing line, including what the order should be and how to tie a knot. I appreciated their help!

Rods have a 10% markup from online and chain stores. But the staff is great and they got what you need

This place is one of the greats stores that I have ever seen. Take care of a customer in the best way. All cashiers are helpful, kind, and looking to give service to customers and answer the question, especially with the person who is coming for the first time to fish and they don’t know about anything or fisheries. They help to find suitable fishing rods and proper equipment best. They were very patient and did explain everything. They show you how Equipment works and what essential things you must look at. It was exciting for me when I saw one of the cashiers. They said we have this item, but I do not recommend buying it. Do you need to buy another kind of app if you don’t have one? It was fascinating they didn’t have it, but they said they don’t believe the one they have, that’s so honest. I liked it the first time we’ve been there, and we spent more than $1000 to buy all the equipment we needed for the fishing for a start. I recommend this place, especially for the one who wants to start fishing. Do you have very knowledgeable people who work over there?

Avoid!!Literally the worst customer service. The Asian guy was hella rude. I had a gift card and I was 8 dollars over my gift card amount, asked him to take off a few items and he got Mad!!! Annnnd tried to take my bait to put back on the shelf after I had bought it! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Walmart has a better bait selection!!!! Big 5 would be better!!!

BEWARE NO RETURNS ON ANYTHING !!!!!! That sucks. If you buy a rod bring in the reel you want to fish it. To see how it feels. If your picky like me lesson learned dont go there for fishing gear unless you know exactly what you what. Pricing is high

One of the few places that had the bait I was looking for. Bait wise this is my go too, I'm all set when it comes to equipment. Friendly staff as well!

The rudest sale person.I went to Bay Tackle to buy a spinning fishing rods for a beginner. Prior to visiting the store I actually called to check that they would have what I needed, and the person on the phone politely suggested that if I come to their store instead of REI I would get a better guidance, a that sounded great to me. However, when I came to the store the sale person was openly annoyed by the fact that I did not know exactly what kind of gear I was looking for. He did not explain anything about the different baits, and instead just picked some stuff for me and dropped it off at the register. he brought a few items so I asked him what it was and how to use it, to which he replied " are you good with YouTube?". How is this acceptable to say something like this to a customer? Basically he's been condescending and not helpful, the opposite of what the person on the phone told me the store would be like. Go to REI for your beginner fishing gear.

Large selection of merchandise but seems a little overpriced, cost me $12.00 for 10 frozen anchovies, and don't forget your mask. I won't be shopping there anymore.
