We fell in love with a house after only a week of looking, and we were scrambling to do some comparison shopping between lenders in a short amount of time to be able to make an offer. We saw that Chris came highly recommended online. Not only was he responsive, but he was able to walk us through aspects of the lending and homebuying process that other lenders did not. He was very transparent about what he could give us in terms of rates and closing costs and they ended up being the best among all those that we shopped for. After choosing him as a lender, his team was able to manage almost everything behind the scenes with very little for us to do except sign documents. We had trouble finding insurance, and his team even proactively connected us with an insurance broker to make sure that we could have something in time for closing. The process was seamless and we were able to close (early!) with no issues. I would definitely work with Chris and his team again.

He was proactive about communicating with us every step of the way, answered our questions quickly and candidly, and handled his part of every transaction promptly. It was a pleasure working with Chris as a first time homebuyer. Not only was he deeply knowledgeable about different lending products that we could use as a first time homebuyer, but was also extremely thorough, diligent and transparent during the entire process. His communication was top notch and he made sure we were kept in loop with everything going on as well as made sure to follow up diligently with documents to be returned to close escrow on time. Also his closing time was very very competitive and definitely gave us an edge over the competing offers. He was in fact able to beat his already challenging closing time by 5 days to make sure we get the property ahead of time with the locked rates.I would like to add that, having shopped around a bit for best mortgage rates, we could confidently say that Chris was offering the best terms overall and goes above and beyond to get creative with financing.Overall, Chris was exceptional and we would be using him for all our deals moving forward.

Chris Mason aka Dr. Mortgage is the absolute best in the business. If you are passionate about details, appreciate thorough processing, love a detailed approach to administrative requirements...please stop scrolling - do yourself a favor - and schedule an online consultation with Chris. He will answer all your question in seconds. Seconds. Long story short we were pursuing a survival va loan. A very specific loan. This caused a problem with loan origination company....but we had already started the process. Chris called 15 other lenders to no avail. Then he called the first lender...went to bat for us. And essentially forced the lender to give us a better rate than we originally had been offered. When Chris called - he didn't tell me we have a problem. He said ..."we have a problem but we already solved it."How often does that happen?10/10. The absolute best. Call him right now unless you hate exceptional service.

Chris was great to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable around the market and how government regulation and policy would affect the interest rate. He never left my wife and I hanging if we had a question, even if it was at odd hours.

Had a great experience with Chris. He educated me more than any other previous lenders I've worked with, and was there to answer any questions I had throughout any part of the process. More importantly, he was able to help us close extremely fast in just 21 days! Funny how I found Chris through Reddit. His knowledge regarding real estate, loans, and the economy was what made me decide to refinance with him. He was very efficient, transparent, and honest. This was refreshing compared to past experiences with others where it felt like a lot of smoke and mirrors. Details matter when we're talking about the largest loan of our life! We were able to refinance at all time lows last year in a timely manner. I also liked how he uses streamlined websites to manage his schedule and paperwork processing. I learned a lot through his consultation sessions and continue to do so through social media. For no-nonsense professionalism, Chris is the guy! Will definitely work with him again if we ever have real estate financing needs.
