My 2007 Ford Super Duty 6.0 ruptured a hose just past the sand dunes off I-8. Had it towed to Ricks, and immediately the owner came out and found the problem. He was getting ready to close, but I already had a ride back to San Diego county. I told him to take his time and I would come back to pick it up. Went in this Saturday (Oct 29) and was told to take the truck and pay later.Wow! Never had that happen before.Great customer service, and very trusting.

Recently on our summer vacation trip we had the power steering go out in our 97 American Dream coach coming down the big hill east of San Diego. After searching Google and not knowing anybody in El Centro we connected with Ricks Group Diesel. They immediately began working on it. Rick and his team had us back on the road as soon as the new pump arrived. I highly recommend Rick's Group Diesel.

5 star service. Rick is a true gentleman and knows his engines. My Cummings 5.9L had serious issues while on a road trip. Found his shop. Rick went out of his way. Wish there were more guys like him. Thanks again!!

This is a GREAT family run place. They have so much business from the county, and local fire trucks, that I feel very lucky that they were able to squeeze me in today. I had driven my semi truck the night before from Casa Grande, Arizona to El Centro. After spending the night, I discovered my truck had lost 3 gallons of oil! :0 I drove over to their place, after being turned away at three other places because they were too busy. In contrast, these guys brought me in immediately, and discovered my problem in under 5 minutes. The day before, a technician had installed an oil filter incorrectly, and it had broken the rubber o-ring at the top of the filter. They had me out of there in about an hour, and they pressure washed the engine afterwards to make sure I didn't have any leaks. In addition, their dog Picasso, the only dog I've ever seen that is even dirtier than my dog Lucy (who loves to roll in the dirt after a bath), got my dog out of the funk that she's been in the last couple of days. I thought she was hurt or something, but I think she had just been in the truck too long, and needed some canine companionship. So, Rick's Diesel not only fixed my truck in record time, they fixed my dog as well. :-) Thank you so much! :-)P.s. They also have the coolest office you've ever seen. It looks like a castle on the outside, and on the inside is filled with a collection of swords and armor, and shields, etc. I wish I had taken a picture now. That was a bonus. :-)

We broke down outside of El Centro and called just about every mechanic in town every shop i called referred me to Rick because their computers couldn't communicate with my truck. They wouldn't even look at it. Rick diagnosed and fixed the problem at a very reasonable price. Would recommend 10/10.
