“EDIT: Service Manager: Please be sure to let Mario and the bakery staff know how much I appreciate them! I get the impression they won't see this themselves. A big shout-out to Mario in the bakery!!!! I was having a hard time finding Irish Soda Bread in El Centro. I had a St. Patty's party coming up and I wanted to bring this bread. After not finding any at Vons, I went to the bakery dept. to see if they had any in the back. They didn't, but I spoke with Mario, who offered to bake some for me. I was relieved and happy to be able to bring this annual bread to my friends. This was on Friday. He would have done it that afternoon, but I really didn't need the bread until Monday. I called Monday morning, hoping he hadn't forgotten. Yes! I had Irish Soda Bread waiting for me! Mario saved the day for me. And it was as fresh as if I made it myself. Did I tell my friends I didn't bake it? Only the people that were there know for sure.”
“I have had to get my medication locally instead of by mail order via CVS Caremark. Luckily, CVS makes it easier. This was my first time in a long time to go to a regular pharmacy and, even though, someone made an error, my overall experience was good. I called my doctor to get medication and they called it in to a different pharmacy so I had to call again to get it moved to CVS. I called the pharmacy and no prescription. I asked if they could get it transferred which they did-much faster than getting my doctors office to do it. Someone put my insurance card in wrong which caused a 15-20 minute wait but errors happen. It's always fun looking at all the interesting products at drug stores. I would definitely go back to this CVS. Service was good and they were really nice. I, also, recommend this pharmacy. They are extremely busy so call before going down to get medication!”
