I was a bit disappointed because I made an appointment. The manager is the one who helped me with the appointment (he was very nice and helpful). I needed a blowout and make up done so he set up my hair appointment at their salon and my make up appointment at their Mac. The day of my appointment I go and the hair stylist was very nice but she took a very long time to do just curls nothing fancy, and I mentioned to her I have another appointment at their Mac. She goes look for someone at their Mac and comes back and tells me there are no appointments in their schedule under my name. Obviously I started to worry, so another hair stylist was doing another ladies hair and said, "I can do her makeup". So another stylist took over the ladies hair, and started doing my makeup. I was still under the impression of purchasing 50 dollars worth of Mac makeup for my appointment and that was it. At the end I was charged 60 dollars for "formal makeup", and my additional 50 dollars worth of Mac makeup. Honestly, only reason why I did not complain right there and then was because I was such in a hurry and running late. Never again will I come. It was very unorganized. I came in with the impression of one thing and came out the total opposite. And my curls fell within the first two hours. My hair is pretty thick and heavy but I've had curls last two days!

Don't bother making an appointment here for anything. Today has been the third time I've made an appointment (the first two were for eyebrows and the one today was for a haircut). All three times either the stylist wasn't actually there or the stylist accepted a walk in seconds before I checked in and I had to wait about 45 minutes more. When I did get my eyebrows done the girl left one of my eyebrows noticeably thinner than the other one.

Disorganized and messy! Empty shelves and product all jumbled up. Samples all messed up. Long line at checkout and only one register open. Good thing I didn't make the trip just to come here. I think I will just order online from now on. Miss my store in Lubbock Texas! They know how to properly run a store.

Ulta El Centro- VERY poor customer service, even the manager. Cant find an associate for help- when you do, you are rushed as is if they have more important things to be doing- like talking to another reps. The store is bare, and a mess -they never have products I would like to purchase during the visit--- unless sometimes you get lucky and an associate offers "Oh ya let me check in the drawer we have more over here" WOW the other associate straight up told me "no whats there is there."

This has to be the worst Ulta I have ever been too!! They're always running low on items, even simple things like tissues. I had swatched a few items on my hand and after seeing the tissue boxes empty I asked an employee if they had any she answered NO, that they have been out for days and ULta doesn't send them any. This El Centro Ulta has the worst customer service in history especially the seasonal workers working these last two months ( November & December). & NO one ever is available to help or greets when you walk in. So disappointed!!

I am just here for the winter so I really didn't know where to go for a haircut. I can tell you that for $40 I expected much more. The girl who cut my hair obviously didn't have a lot of experience. (Ulta stylists are supposedly specially trained) I told her exactly how many inches I wanted off and it took her three tries. Long story short, I ended up with two sides looking different. I showed her the problem and she couldn't figure out what was wrong. She called over another stylist who said the layers were longer on one side and so she finished up my cut and bangs. Now I have choppy layers on one side. I was there way too long and came out with a less than mediocre haircut. Not pleased. Will find another place to go.

My first time there was last weekend. My friends love it there and were so excited to show me the place. Pretty store. Fun music. A mix of happy staff and rude staff. I was not impressed. The main walkways were cramped. They literally stuffed as much merchandise as they could into the store for the Christmas shoppers, I'd assume. When I was near the salon some of the stylists were complaining about not having customers and using colorful language to express their feelings. Also, when I was making my way to the front of the store, through a narrow path, two staff members were walking towards me. One of us needed to stop and move out of the way to make room for a passing.. Well, they didn't stop, so I did. And when I did so, one of them bumped right into me. Didn't even bother to apologize, but made sure to say "oops" and laugh with the other staff member. So rude. I will not return to this Ulta.

If you want your eyebrows to look you need to visit Julianne at the benefit brow bar. She is very nice, professional and always consistent with my brows. I won't let anyone else touch them. I wish Ulta would have more sales associates around her station area though because customers will come and ask her questions about products on the sales floor (not benefit products) while she is in the middle of working brow magic. If there were more sales people around her area the customers wouldn't have to interrupt her. That's my only real complaint
