I haven't actually been to the shop yet. The person I talked to on the phone was friendly. I made an appointment. I can't wait to see what the service is like. I will inform all of you once I know.

I recently bought a used truck, and the previous owner had the transmission rebuilt by this shop over 2 years ago. It developed a small leak on the dipstick tube shortly after I bought it. I brought the truck by and it was fixed and ready to go the next day. The service advisor Paul was clear and helpful and they never charged me a dime. Good people here!

I dropped my car off on a Friday, I was told they would get to it asap? Well they didn't touch it the whole next week? So I decided to pick it up because they were not living up to their promise. When I got in my truck it was almost empty of gas? I had just put in over a half tank of gas? They apparently were using my truck to run around? Very displeased! And Paul their advisor is all about how great they are with this great reputation of over 50 years? Beware!

I brought them my Prerunner ford ranger that gets driven hard in the desert and they built me a very strong transmission with a over sized pan, new mounts, shift kit and new radiator to keep it cool. It was expensive but you get what you pay for with Paul running things. I am nothing but satisfied with my trucks drivability now. They have a deep history in modified cars and trucks and it shows. Looking forward to enjoying my truck this desert seasonService: Transmission

Just got my Subaru BRZ back from my first time trying these guys out... I am naturally pretty skeptical of mechanics because of some bad experiences in the past but I'm super happy with Paul and the crew. My baby feels like brand new again, he took the time to show me the damaged part without me even asking, and paul even took some time to teach me a few things about clutches. Definitely will use them from now on, thanks so much for taking care of me and my Subie.

I have an expensive custom car. G.M Turbo 350. Took to regular guy who has done my work before. 3 times and transmission still leaked. Paul had it for one time. One day to CORRECTLY diagnose leaks and one day to repair. No more leaks! Plus I had a small oil leak other guy couldn't find and it was trans related and also repaired. Paul also went over the top to keep my car clean and protected against damage. Very important with custom paint and interior. All my friends recommended these guys, now I have experienced why.

I had my transmission out of my Ford 150 rebuilt by these guys for $3136.00. It lasted 27000 miles then threw a transmission fault code. I took it back and they dianosed. They found metal shavings in the pan so the transmission had to be removed from the vehicle. They said the cause was from the torque converter. The company that supplied them with the torque converters at the time of my first rebuild they no longer do business with because there converters where faulty. They honered there warranty at 70% and it costed me $787.93.I don't think I should of had to pay anything! But I understand removing a transmission isn't easy.So now another 31000 miles later on my way to work on the freeway the transmission started slipping. Had it towed home. I called valley transmission and they said it's no longer under any type of warranty. For $4056.00 I got a transmission that lasted 58000 miles.Needless to say I'm taking my business else where.Service: Transmission

Wife's Rav4 started making a stalling/slipping-gear feel while driving. My code reader gave a generic transmission solenoid error. Had it towed to Valley Transmission who told me that was usually NOT the actual cause of these types of problems, but they'd have to look at it to see. Cool. What they found was, my alternator was fried. Literally. It wasn't putting out the proper voltage to the battery and may have damaged the ECM. (Electronic computer module) I replaced the alternator and the ECM with the help of a friend and had Valley Transmission then check the car out again. No more gear slipping or error code! They did highly advise a complete transmission fluid and filter change which my friend agreed it really needed. Luckily the transmission wasn't damaged, and Valley Transmission did not try to rip me off and claim that it needed work. I've had plenty of places, including Toyota, tell me there were things wrong that my mechanic verified was complete BS. I salute VT's honesty and friendliness in working with me and helping me get this fixed without milking my wallet. They've been around since mid 80's and have a good rep from what my buddy told me. He trusts them, now i do too.
