I sent a Mother's Day card to my daughter last year. I enclosed $60.00 for her to buy a gift. She never received the card. I complained to the clerk of what happened and was asked did I send the card registered? I replied no., just regular mail. I was told that it was basically my fault cause I didn't even ask for a sig. They didn't take a report. Now if I had a public business and one of my customers was taken advantage of, I would be wanting to know what was going on, that the mail was being messed with. No one seems to care. I said something about it to the person next to me, and she too had a card missing with money in it. Is no one monitoring the security of the mail? Now I have to send all cards by registered mail or at least require a signature. This All costs extra money. I hope this stirs some awareness to the public about how safe your mail is.

I have mailed 5 greetings cards through this post office and only 1 arrived. They didn’t have money, but they were pricey. Someone inside is stealing the mail they think has cash. Not using this location anymore and I’ll update this to see if it’s different in other locations. So sad!☹️?

I’ve had over 4 packages supposedly delivered to the right address but they keep giving me different answers the supervisor Pedro Guijarro was the least help and just kept saying the same prodocall answers he wouldn’t even confirm any adress that it was delivered too or try to resort any problems it’s my third time in this location for 4 missing packages that USPS says they didn’t lose but when I tell the seller to deliver to a different address thinking it was wrong they confirm informed me it was the correct address so why do the workers at usps on 2nd have such careless employees exspetually the supervisor Pedro he has disregarded any care Everytime I’ve spoken to him

Had a package for delivery to my PO Box. Online tracking said it was delivered to parcel locker. I never received the key to retrieve the package. Supervisor checked the parcel log and my package was picked up, but I hadn't been in the post office since it was "delivered". I suspect the key was placed in someone else's PO Box. Got better customer service from the company I ordered from regarding a return than I did from the post office employees.

No complaints. Hard working team- mostly. Clean. Quickly moving. Busy AF but that's the nature of the game baby. During the week during the day is the best time to buy stamps and take care of your post office needs.

8/22/2023 - This has happened YET AGAIN! So incredibly unprofessional. I have filed an official online complaint with USPS. Such flagrant disrespect for personal property needs to be dealt with.--------------(Original post from one year ago)Once again, the carrier leaves an expensive package on the ground, next to my mailbox, right near the street, where anybody can grab it. I have repeatedly asked throughout the years that our packages be brought to the door. Is it really that hard???!!!

Dear Fellow El Cajon CommunityPlease Disregard yourselfFrom coming to this facilityThe staff & managers lack ProfessionalThe customer service is beyond awful and disturbing. The staff was very rude when trying to drop off some packages. The staff attempted to tell me how to parent my child as I was already dealing with my OWN child. This facility is very unprofessional, the staff wanted to fight me when they got off. Very very rude and very alarming for a corporate company.

This location is at Bostonia St., El Cajon, CA- my go to location. Great staff, quick service and they go out of their way to assist customers. A Post Office job is a very demanding position, and as they go through their day, I can see that the staff at the front is very accommodating & very personable.My definite place to go for my mailing & shipping needs.

I went here and there was a women working her name was Valerie and she was really rude to me, i had done nothing to her and was very chill she was just really angry to the point her coworker had to help instead.

The supervisor was very efficient in helping me find a package that was sent back due to a mistake on my end typing my address. I really appreciated it! The rest of the staff were very kind and hard working as well!

Was told over the phone that we could pay for our POBox in Lakeside at this branch which was closer. Using the easy access machine in the lobby was simple and easy. We just followed the prompts and used a debit card. One and done!
