On December 2, I purchased 6 Visa gift cards for $400 and gave them to workers and friends for Christmas. One by one five of them called me to say the cards did not work as the numbers were scratched off. I called the 6th person, and he returned the card to me unopened. After spending hours collecting all the fraudulent cards, I went into Target January 8 with my receipt of payment expecting an apology and refund for the inconvenience and embarrassment. Unfortunately I was denied this EVEN THOUGH THE MANAGER AND I OPENED THE SEALED, UNOPENED CARD FROM THE 6TH PERSON AS PROOF OF THE ILLEGITIMACY OF THE CARDS! I was then given a Visa Customer Service phone number and spent 41 minutes documenting with a very hard to understand agent-then told to email pictures of card, receipt, ID, etc. AND told it would take 30 days to review! Target, you sold me cards that were completely compromised and are responsible to take care of your customer! Then Target, YOU do battle with Visa. This is not right and I want a full refund.

Super disappointing target. Building looks new but this place always looks trashed and disheveled. Employees always look busy but I'm not really sure what they're doing because the shelves aren't restocked and nothing is tidied up. I had high hopes for this place too. Clearance section was disastrous in all areas. Drive a little longer to El Cajon, Grossmont, or lemon grove for better kept stores.

Of all the targets i have been to this one is by far the cleanest. Easy to navigate and fairly reasonable prices. However...the lines are always terrible. They will have 2 checklanes open on a Saturday with all the self checkouts open. And they only have 4 or 5 self checkout machines. When i have a full cart the last thing i want to do is self checkout. But that's usually the fastest. Open more lanes, please!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this Target! Always fully stocked and the drive-up is usually on point besides when theres a holiday which is understandable of course. Even though theres another Target near my house(small sized Target) I always prefer to go to this Target because of the ambiance, fully stocked shelves and of course more space to move around in the aisles!Ps. My wife also raids your bullseye section too!

It's great for buy electronics. However they did a remodel ways back. They serve the little Pizza Hut personal pans. But every time I go to buy one they never ever have any. I love eating those small pizzas, but if they don't have the time, hours, people to schedule to cook, or any other reason then just get rid of that area and fill it with something your able to fill. It's really annoying 9 times out 10 nothing is there.

I purchased a $100 gift card from this store and the gift card is invalid. Target's customer service is horrible and says they have to research the issue, which can take 7 to 10 business days. I have my receipt and proof, but they have been pushing me off. I will never buy another gift card from target again.

It was always a hit and miss at this Target because the amount of stuffs they carry, last time I came here during the construction and it was chaos, this time a little bit better, I would say I could still find some pretty good deals on toys because the place was too far away and pretty hidden, you would rather go to another location near central area of San Diego, so maybe the reason why they put a lot of items on sales, then again I went a few days after Xmas and most of the shelves were empty, well I am sure if I waited long enough I come back the Hasbro Transformers would go down even more since it was mislabeled, the normal price for a Deluxe class as of 2022 is about $24.99 before taxes, how could they raised up the price to $29.99 and saying on sales for $20.99, you basically saved nothing, on Hasbro website it's still $24.99 without shipping but already sold out, that's just the dilemma

curbside pickup/drive up has completely gone downhill. I use to rave about this, I could easily and safely get an item and barely wait. I noticed the change when they started coming out from the back of the store. but even after the parking spots were moved 100% of the time now I am waiting with 6-7 other cars for 15-20 minutes. it's the only reason I would even come to this location. such a good thing completely ruined.

if you are anything of a brown shade , do not come here .. they will think u are stealing even when you are already at the cash register paying for your stuff .. managers are rude and don't want to help u if they do help it's with a attitude , don't use any type of payment plan form of payment they will think u are doing some type of fraud ! LITERALLY EVERYTIME I COME HERE ITS SOMETHING! even one time a security guard harassed me while in the store cause I had my dog (like ten other people there) he told me I had to leave the store , we didn't do anything, I literally was on the phone looking at detergent and he searched in the store for me and told me I had to leave or he will make me leave ! smh !! I can't help but to shop at target cause I love target but this one !!!! smh u can only find like two managers that are females that are sweet the rest are rude & like to discriminate.. I have more stories but can't put my whole business out there !! but if u go here u will see what I'm talking about if u are any shade of brown !!! I'm not the race blame type because my family is all mixed up but I feel it everytime I come here and it's sad cause I like the store but its not worth it with that type of energy ! And I feel bad for some of the workers cause I know they feel it too I hear it in their voices and see it in their faces ! But they are just trying to make money & go home !!

The store not bad by itself. Nice quality of different positions, but sometimes the management surprise me. First time I noticed that during the COVID 19 pandemic, when they increase the price for the bottled water, toilet paper and sanitizing materials. And now they are using the situation with baby formula to get extra profit. The only formula for the infant baby id 43.99 - and it is their own brand. It is not something popular with good quality, it is a regular the cheapest you can find. Even Walmart doesn't do this.

I ordered a mat for a bench on June 4. I was told it would be two days shipping. Now I'm getting from target that it will not be here till July 1. I have called three times to try and cancel it because it keeps saying preparing to ship it hasn't shipped but target in their insanity will not cancel it while it's preparing to ship! I have to wait until it's shipping to me and then cancel it how effing crazy is that? Be careful what you order from target they said two days it's gonna be a month they are liars.

It is ok as far as Targets go. The variety is lacking a bit but that is kind of expected due to their smaller size. It is almost exclusively self check out even when there are lines for the 4 kiosks...but it's still new. What would be great is if their hours online reflected their actual hours of operation. They close at 9pm but are advertising being open until 10pm on Saturday. They opened around the time of the pandemic so it Isn't that they adjusted the hours. If they are going to post a handwritten sign declaring a premature time, might as well adjust it on the internet. It will save their customers gas and time to advertise the early closing. As I approached the door an employee stood just inside the locked doors shrugging and scrolling on his phone. Behind him was clusters of employees chatting. I thought of the general self-serve nature of the store and I couldn't help but wonder, if the staff are there, why can't their customers continue to shop in the independent fashion that is customary? I will say, as a frequent shopper of this location, I had a phenomenal customer service experience from a staff member named Crystal who went above and beyond.
