my car apart and didn't put it back together and said my engine was no good and it would never run again. Gave me a receipt for another vehicle wasn't even mine. To get to another place and my car is running just fine. dishonest and rude

Very dirty shop with no one that is professional. They have me recipe for a compression reading that was not even my car. It took three times going there to get a recipe that was for my car. Took parts from my car off and didn't put them back on. Told me my car would never run again. After taking my Volvo to a good shop, my car is running great. I was told it needed a new engine. Worst place ever .Service: Computer diagnostics

3 years ago I purchased a used car that was really giving me trouble and I was starting to have buyer's remorse. Out of the blue I found Sergio's and they have been a true blessing with tremendously fair pricing and solid skills to keep my car moving. In addition to that more than once Sergio's has advised me my car didn't need any immediate service which is rare or impossible for most Auto Repair Shops. Do yourself a favor and check out Sergio's!!!

My boyfriend and his family have been going here for years. He recommended I try them out for an oil change. Sergio's did not disappoint! I called them at about 10a on a Friday to see if they could squeeze my Toyota Highlander in. The man I spoke to on the phone said of course and asked if I could come by in 30 minutes. I did and was planning to drop it off for a few hours and Uber home, but they told me that the service would be completed within 30 minutes. Wow! The shop is in an industrial area and shares a tight parking area with a few other automotive businesses. It's not the best part of El Cajon and the shop is a little messy and cluttered, but the things that matter most are on point. Sergio's boasts wonderful and friendly customer service, hassle-free communication, great automotive work and and VALUE. Thank you so much guys! I will be back for all of my service and will refer everyone your way

Guys are always busy they really handy make sure you get here early best time is between 9:00am when they open to 11:00 am or theres a chance your car will get started tomorrow but it depends on the job my bro hector he is a mechanic genius he knows very much he is what you call a engine Technician boy does he know what it takes to be a mechanic and Sergio Jr he a cool fellow he has the funniest jokes on the block he is a good man hit em up tell them Lloyd sent you he knows me by that name...:

Used unpainted sheet metal screws to attach trim piece, then scratched the trim when it was returned to be attached correctly.

I've been going to this shop for over 10yrs now and even though I live in another state I visit San Diego regularly and let them handle all my automotive maintenance when I'm in town!
