I am totally amazed!!! Most shops couldn't work on our 2003 Chevy Tracker because parts are unavailable, but the rear end was making terrible noise. We took it to Steve, he took a half a day calling around and found the parts he needed to be able to fix it in Lake Havasu! He got the parts, then took 1 day to repair it and I got it back the next day!! Not only was he quick at the repair, but all the noise we've been used to hearing for years was blissfully, all of a sudden, GONE!!! Thank you San Diego Gear and Axle for your outstanding customer service, you're expertise in an unbelievably well job done and saving us from having a new car payment!!! And Steve was an absolute gentleman to deal with!!!

Great Quality on the Ring/Gear Swap! Will definitely be recommending family and friends this way for any differential/axle needs—Swapped my toyota 7.5” 4.88 gears back to the stock 3.73 gears while still using the TruTrac LSD

Very highly recommend this shop. Steve is awesome and very helpful and is not driven by simply making a dollar. He genuinely wants to help out his customer and do the best for everybody that he can. It’s like going back 50 years in time when people used to actually care.

This is a wonderful shop with a very knowledgeable owner who is very generous with his time to help me figure out a problem with my truck. Highly recommend these people they seem very honorable. Really appreciate the information he gave me even though I didn't become his customer I would definitely be one of his in the future

Had new gears and a locker installed on my jeep. They did a great job on my truck before, so I thought they were the right ones for this job. 200 miles after I picked up the Jeep, the rear drivers side tire came off on the road. I check the rest of the wheels, and all were loose by hand. Had it towed 100 miles back to the shop and they fixed the damage and got me back on the road. They failed to torque the lug nuts on all wheels. We know these things happen although they shouldn't. I wasn't going to write this review until weeks later I opened the hood of the jeep and saw the unprofessional, unacceptable wiring job they did with the locker. Just slung the wires over the top of the engine. Couldn't believe it. I won't drive another 35 miles back to the shop to have them fix it again. I will just run the wires myself. The locker and gears seem to be installed and working fine.

My Jeep Wrangler had a terrible noise in the rear. Steve gave me a little bottle of special gear lube. After putting it in it never made any noises. Thanks Steve
