I've been a dedicated member with the trainers, namely Nick Bates, for over 6 years, and I can confidently say it’s the best fitness community I've ever been a part of. I’ve been an active person for as long as I can remember, with an athletic background, soccer, rock climbing, yoga, running, etc. I’ve never seen results like this until I started weight training here. The trainers here will support you every step of the journey, pushing you when you need it, supporting you during the challenging days, always meeting you where you’re at and encouraging you to be your best self. I can’t thank them all enough, it’s truly changed my life! They give detailed instructions on how to do each movement, give advice when something doesn’t feel right, give you a macro count to follow to maximize your results and reach your goals. If you’re looking for a sign to join, this is it. It’s worth every penny!

Easily the best gym I have been too! The trainers take the time to get to know every member and help you progress in your fitness goals. I have always been an active person and thought I knew what I was doing in the gym before joining SDET but they really take you to the next level and focus on proper form and injury prevention. My hour spent at SDET has quickly become my favorite part of the day!

The gym can be super intimidating especially if you’re not the most fit person… unless you go to sd elite! Never have I been to a gym and had so many people who care and encourage me to be my best! The trainers here are to welcoming, helpful and make working out fun!Having small class sizes with an experienced trainer is great and I’ve really been able to work on my form.Since joining sd elite I have seen a lot of positive changes in my body and in my confidence!If you’re looking for a gym that1. Has a program to increase strength2. Has knowledgeable trainers3. A supportive environment4. Can support anyone from beginning level to competitive lifters…Sd elite is the gym to go to!

This gym is legit! Used some great equipment I hadn't used before and got thorough instruction from the trainers. If you're looking for a motivating group workout, definitely check this place out!

Great little gym in San Diego East county. Strength and conditioning focus, with quarterly assessments of your progress! A little gym community with the best coaches! Coaching for powerlifting, spartan racing, we even have a group of runners in our gym family! All are welcome, come try it out!

Super great training if you're looking for a well balanced routine. Strength training, conditioning, HIIT, CrossFit, weight lifting.. truly a little bit of everything. Trainers are great, I could especially vouch for Nick and Joey! Trained with Jen once, also super great. They all give that tough love that you need but mega polite all while doing it, can't go wrong :)

The best in town! This group of trainers all have their own flair and style but the workouts always consistently kick your ass in a good way! I always come out feeling stronger mentally and physically! I've been training in a group setting with Nick & Cara for 6 years now and they really have a great way of doing things! I've been training in a group setting with Joey, Chris & Jenn for almost 2 years and they all bring something different to the table! I love the feeling and push I get with all of them. They really want you to succeed and know when to push you harder and also when to pull back. The amount of Knowledge they have about training and nutrition is something I haven't experienced at any other gym! I love working out here and I'm excited to go to the gym, it never feels like a dread to go! In the last few months my strength & form have drastically increased and gotten better! If you're looking for a place that's got that non corporate gym feel with amazing trainers who care about you, this is the place! I feel so lucky to be a part of something so special! Thanks for being the best guys/gals!

I really love and appreciate this gym. I have trained with Nick and Cara since 2017, and Joey, Chris, and Jenn since I joined SDET. They really push you to your limit and build incredible workouts. Just as important though, they take the time to know their members and build a sense of community that makes going there more than just marking off a one of your daily to do's. There's never a time that I don't laugh, shoot the sh%t with one of the trainers or other members, or leave feeling great and ready to take on my day ( I go in the morning). I highly recommend this gym regardless of what fitness level you're at. Please know everyone is very welcoming and not judgmental. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and I've seen them work with people of all different levels. In 2017 I was not in the best shape and had no idea what I was doing. I feel very confident now in my athletic ability and I feel so strong! I can honestly go on and on. If your scrolling through reading this page deciding if you should contact them for your one week free trial, take this as your sign to do it! You won't regret it.
