Super honest and great people. I had taken my van to Alpine family auto and the guy was trying to charge me thousands and I took It to Roy wheeler and the oil filter was clogged and they hooked me up! Great people. Good to know honest mechanics are still out there. God bless them all! ??

I brought my old truck in expecting an expensive repair. They fixed the broken part for a fraction of what I thought it would cost and talked me out of replacing something that another mechanic told me needed to be replaced. I will use them again

Awesome place. Took my Accord in because the battery kept draining. Turns out one of the cables wasn't properly connected. They kept the car overnight to check for any other problems and the battery is a little weak but still ok for now. No charge for this service! Friendly and professional people. Highly recommended. Will be taking our vehicles to Roy wheeler's from now on. Thanks!

Saw good reviews about this place so I gave it a Try. Took my "running" & "reliable" SUV there 4 smog check. Hours later they handed me my keys & I drove it a block before it died & will not start. Mechanic looked at it, couldn't fix it, said sorry about your luck & left. Poor customer service. I at least expected vehicle to be in same or better condition than when I brought it in but instead it went from "running & reliable" to "dead & broken" after Wheeler Auto touched it. Unfortunately they refuse to give it back to me in the same running condition as I left it to them. Never again will I trust them to do any work.

Worth all five stars. My best friends brother work on cars in a body shop. He recommended this place for mechanical repairs. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. I know that I am in good hands. I always recommend other people to this place. They are the best.

Full disclosure, I don't pay for service here. I do bring a company owned vehicle in for PM, and other repairs. That being said, they have always treated me as a paying customer. Kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. All repairs I have dropped the vehicle off for have been done in a timely manner. I would make no second guesses about bringing my personal vehicle here.

Roy has helped me with an unruly ole van that I love more than once. He's honest and fair and he explains things in terms I can always understand. The front office staff is knowledgeable and quite friendly. I never want to take my vehicle anywhere else. You guys are much appreciated.

I went to a Dealer for oil change they Quoted me $14,000for Several things on my SUV. I took my suv to Honest Roy Wheeler & wonderful Tanya at Front desk for a second opinion. We were under warranty in past but not now. So we are going back to the Best Auto place in El Cajon. Roy Wheeler and Team! They did inspection of the list given for $14,000! They said they didn't see anything that need to be done right now.We were customers in past and took good care of us then and even now. Glad we don't have to go back to dealer anymore.
