This review is for the tortillas sold here.We usually buy our tortillas somewhere else but it happened to be raining and we didn’t want to drive that far out. We yelped “tortillas” and we found this store.The tortillas were just serving and they were still warm. We got home and make tacos and we enjoyed them! Really good.

The market is nice, small and very friendly. My review is based mostly on their carne asada burrito. Many reviews taut this place as a hidden gem. But the burrito was awful. 1/3 of it was fat and gristle that was inedible. Another third was just charred bits. Go for the market, but not the food!

This place is a sleeper in El Cajon, next to yogurt mill.No fancy menu, just tell them what you want and it will be fresh and the best. I’ve tried 3 times recently before reviewing.I came here 12 years ago and when it switched owners I never really went back. Glad I’m back.

Hidden gem, great family owned mexican food market with an amazing kitchen making select tasty meals. The chorizo breakfast burrito ? is absolutely the best in town! Birra tacos, carne asada and Quesadillas are so delicious ?.

If you’re looking for a burrito or roll tacos then go somewhere else, that isn’t Mexican… this place has The best authentic home cooked meal… caldo de res, chicharrón en salsa verde, mole all so good… queso fresco and tortillas always good and fresh.. it’s a family fun business and everyone is so nice

This is great little neighborhood market. They have a pretty bustling butcher counter and a much larger menu of hot food options than I would have expected. Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc. The produce section is small, just what you need to grill all the meat you're going to purchase. There's shelf stable food, a small dairy section, household items and lots of snacks and candy. They're located next to the iconic Yogurt Mill and there's plenty of nearby parking. The service is excellent, friendly and welcoming.

Bought a meat package for $105. I think it was a okay deal. I haven't done the math but I am sure I could have found similar things for cheaper prices if I bought them individually from other stores. The convenience of doing it all at once was nice tho. The meat is good quality.

Best burrito in San Diego for sure. Always has the freshest meat in a big burrito! Also a nice selection of produce including fresh mangos. Staff is always very nice and welcoming. Highly recommend.

This family-owned meat market is a true gem for birria lovers. Their birria is unbeatable, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The staff is incredibly welcoming, making you feel like part of the family. I'll definitely be a regular here!
