Went in and were completely rude and did not want to accept my military ID or passport as a form of ID and apparently my out of state drivers license wasn’t “legal” to access my account. They wanted to keep my drivers license!!!

This is the worst Navy Fed branch I’ve ever been to. I had a question regarding my loan through Navy Fed and was told by the receptionist clerk that they don’t have Loan Specialists to help me since they are so short staffed. Instead, I spoke to a teller who had no idea what they were talking about and was told to call Navy Fed. If I wanted to call navy fed I wouldn’t have even showed up in the first place.How is a branch open on a Thursday and have no one to process loans? This location just seemed like a waste of resources, especially with three other branches in east county.

Came by today to take care of some paperwork . Enrique was the teller and he was very kind and attentive. I appreciate that he was courteous and took care of the issue. Thank you.

Rarely a line at this one. I was able to pick up a cashiers check in a couple minutes. They are closed for Juneteenth. There is two atm outside of the bank. Parking is a breeze since it is in a shopping center. They also have a bathroom but no drive through.

Jennifer cut me in line, gave the justification that she was there before as she was helping another customer. I see why their customer service is low. She didn't even ask me if it was ok and assumed I would be ok with her position to cut. Navy Federal, your customer service department needs to train her on how to open a new teller area and assist the customer she has and not cut other customer who are waiting in line. Carolina the manager didn't seem to care, apology came after the fact when I tried to address it with her. She told me ohh we knew of what she was doing: I didn't know you could cut the line. She just stared at me, y'all someone needs to be retired. Navy Fed: corporate, y'all gonna have less members with staff like this.

What a disgraceful lack of empathy in this branch. The ATM debited my account but failed to dispense the cash. I was left stranded on my way to Mexico, a long ways from home, and locked out of other ATMs because they said I was at my limit. Manager Jennifer, failed to show any empathy at all. Her only response was, " there is nothing we can do. Contact your own bank. You are not our customer". Her partner had the same EXTREMELY COLD UNCARING attitude. Navy Federal, there WAS something they could do. They could have recognized a human in distress. They could have listened with empathy and peacefully and apologetically explained their side. But their lack of empathy and unwillingness to help me escalated the situation. Jennifer handed me her card in an extremely begrudgingly manner. Navy Federal if you are going to assign staff to greet people as they enter the premises, consider using people with with better interpersonal skills. Empathy and kindness go a long way. You also fail to recognize that every person that walks through the door is a potential new account. As for me, new in the area and in need of a new bank, I will certainly transfer my very high savings balance to a different institution. As a footnote, I see now that there are more negative reviews. Seems that at this branch, Navy cannot find their respect for others.

I've been in here several times over the last 4 years I usually frequent the Navy Federal over by Broadway in El Cajon because of the attitude in this branch. The difference with the two locations is definitely the tellers. The rude attitude coming from these young ladies that work at the Rancho San Diego location is pathetic, if I was the manager in that location it would not be that way you can guarantee that. I've been in sales for 33 years working face-to-face with customers and I would never treat one of my customers like these people treat you over here. Get it together treat your customers like family and show respect.
