So I went (reluctantly) car shopping the other day. Started at the Toyota place. My mom and I peered in vehicle windows, wandered the lot for several minutes, I saw a couple people look our way but no way came over to help. Next lot, Honda next door. Faster service but he lost his verve when I explained I was looking, needed to sit in some and see if they were a good fit first, and after the first one shown being WAAAAY out of my price range I Asked for something (again) used and a bit cheaper. I had already stated I wasn't *probably* going to buy today unless I found something that hit all my boxes. At that he said well there was ONE vehicle on the lot that might be that one, over there (the other side of the parking lot) and we could go look in the windows and if we really were interested to come get him in the office to open it up. Yeah, next! So around the corner to Mossy Nissan. Was greeted immediately on exiting our car, very friendly. I was a little grouchy after the last lot experience so I flat out said I'm not looking to buy, just looking to sit, check out the dashboards, seats, storage, etc. so I can decide what I wanted and what I really needed. Absolutely no problem they said, we will open as many vehicles as you nee/want and show/explain anything you need to you. Justin spent almost 2 hours letting my mom and I crawl through, push buttons randomly, sometimes ask "what's this do?" before pushing a button, moving seats around, letting me start them up to see the display and look through the options they had, I mean everything I had wanted to do on the other lots but was denied. They found me vehicle I fell in love with (even drove me to another Nissan location to check it out knowing full well I may not like it). THIS is how you do sales.

The whole experience of purchasing a car here was a MESS. Had multiple issues with financing. My credit was hard pulled a second time a month after the initial approval for them run my credit with no prior warning. I would not recommend.

Bought a car from this dealership last year under our business, we went in with the thoughts of personal garantaneeing the vehicle under the business. We were pretty clear on what our intentions were. We just realized that all the paperwork we signed for was for being a cosigner, not PG. I'm not sure if they couldn't support a commercial auto loan and just wanted to make the sale, and thats why we were led a different path. Beware of the unethical practices of this dealership.

I'd give zero stars if I could but it's very unprofessional to corner someone at there car when someone is trying to spend time with an employee that they know and when told by customer that has social anxiety to back up a little because they are uncomfortable and proceeds to step closer and when leaving William who is the one that acted unprofessional makes a very inappropriate comment saying "If you have social anxiety the get the f*ck off the property!" How is this ok AT ALL something needs to be done because that is ridiculous

I went down to Mossy Nissan El Cajon today with hopes of purchasing a new Frontier. I parked in front, walked over to the Frontiers to look at them, surprised that no sales person had come out to greet me. I continued to look but after 20 minutes still no one came out to help. I decided to just get back in my car and try another dealership as it's obvious this one doesn't care. A customer having to walk into a dealership to get a car salesman to help them. What a world it is today. Simply amazing.

Had a flat tire, so brought my Nissan to the dealership last night after hours. Woke up today and Oscar had already called, ready to get to work! Oscar is so friendly and gives amazing customer service! He explained what was needed with my car, and I didn't feel pressured into adding on any services that weren't necessary. Super nice guy and I'd be happy with him as my advisor again!

I told Gary that I just wanted to look around. He asked what I wanted and I replied to look around and be left alone. I walked to the very edge of the lot where he followed me and kept asking me what I wanted until I finally told him that I'm going to buy a car but not from him.He told me to get off his lot. I came inside to speak with the sales manager and told her that he was stalking me and that he told me to get off his lot. He of course followed me and told her that I was lying and that he didn't say that. She didn't care at all so I'll buy from a different dealer and left

I’ve only had good experiences with Nissan’s service centers, but this time they weren’t ABOVE AND BEYOND!! Jake (Jacob Merrill) was my service advisor. After a HORRIBLE experience with Evan’s Tire that tried to recommend things about my car after noticing possibly concerning damage, but LIED TO ME about calling the local dealership for their recommendation, I had called Mossy Nissan of El Cajon Service Center myself and ended up speaking with Jake, who not only confirmed Evan’s Tire had lied, even put me on speaker with himself and his supervisor to discuss the matter (they said my rack needed to be replaced at Evan’s Tire and another part that connects to the rack). Long story short, Jake was the most honest service advisor I’ve ever met along with his supervisor that day when I called on 12/29/22 and the next day when they helped me out in 12/30/22. I didn’t think this level of care was even possibly from a dealership for service centers. I would hope for it from a mom and pop shop but not here. Jake made sure I would have a rental if needed and arranged for the dealership to have a Lyft come and pick me up (they paid for it!) and made sure all my needs would be met as they got to the bottom of my car’s issues, and while they did find something that required immediate attention, it wasn’t anything at all what Evan’s Tire had lied to me about, saved me over $1000, made sure me feeling safe in my car for myself and my son was the top priority and that I wouldn’t lose more work than I already had due to my experience with Evan’s Tire and needing to be able to drive for work. I honestly left feeling genuinely cared for and would give 6 out of 5 stars for their honesty and customer service any day. I refer my family to go here now after our family friend mechanic retired. They are literally like our “family friend” level of mechanics now due to their level of care and considerations with pricing. I could not be more grateful for Jake and how I was treated here and look forward to come here for service in my Nissan for years to come.

I loved the car I bought. But I wasn’t very impressed with the sales staff. I was told several times that they just wanted to make sure I was taken care of, but then it was followed up by very aggressive and manipulative sales pitches. I almost walked out on buying the car because he talked about how if I don’t buy the roadside assistance plan it’s putting my wife In danger. even though i already have it covered under my auto insurance. It was a very manipulative interaction. I understand you need to make money as a business and it’s sales but there is a way to make money and make your customers feel comfortable at the same time.

3 hour oil change and my appointment was at 7:45am, so the “we were backed up” excuse doesn’t work

I don't appreciate the implications by service agent and manger that I wasn't telling the truth about previous visits in reference to resolve the engine lights on my New 2021 Nissan Kicks! I can't wait to get home and upload my copies of the service receipts!! In any case, "because the lack of service" they recommend an "engine flush" to resolve the issues with my vehicle, among other issues i.e., a bad battery...yeah $$$! This a new car! But I've had the same issue with warning lights turning on at least once a month since Jan 2021 when I originally purchased it. Of course they don't have 'any record' of the issue. I am sure they are nice folks but I'm not an one to allow myself to be taken advantage of. Make sure you do your research & bring a copy of your past service visit...lesson learned! I'll update once I have the receipts!

My review is based on my experience for my NV200 recallI was told over the phone they need my car from Saturday 8:00 A.M till Monday. I asked the gentleman that if I was going to get a car while my car was getting fixed, he said no. This was a recall from nissan dealers. I should be able to get a car while my car is being fixed. But that's O.k. I was able to manage, but on Saturday when I arrived, I was very clear I needed my car the same day and that they could fix the other recalls some other time I need 1 the most important to get my registration from the DMV and my tags. But after 5 to 6 hours, Dan called me with great news, letting me know all my recalls were fixed and my car was ready the same day on Saturday. I was very grateful That Dan had my car ready the same day and all my recalls fixed. They should let customers know they need to check in at the front, where the new cars office is. I did not see any sign like Parts Dept or check in for service.

Received excellent customer service (hard to find in today's culture) from oil change service advisor Earnest Brooks. He provided great communication. Plus, when the service team accidentally broke a bolt on my wheel (during tire rotation), they told me about it, and then fixed it for no charge, as I would have expected. I am looking forward to the next service appointment with Earnest.
