Found a very cheap and unique FDNY shirt that you couldn’t find at Goodwill. The staff was also very friendly and willing to help.

Penny is the sweet blonde gal who has run this shop for at least the last decade. I have come here at least that long. It is one of my Thrifting Honey-Holes. I always find something here, especially women's clothing. It's very nice to come to here and get a nice little pick-me-up sometimes for a good deal. I like their prices. I am glad they have the 50% off sales they do, thanks guys. Good people run this store.

This place is a rip-off. They over-price everything, then put things at 50% off. Come on, stop deceiving customers. There was a Christmas tree with a MSRP of $30. It was priced at $40 then discounted to $20. Why not just price it at $20 and quit pulling the wool over peoples eyes. Also, the place is very unorganized and smells bad.

Staff is extremely rude and will unnecessarily refuse good working items depending on their current mood.

This is one of my favorite thrift stores. I always find awesome items.Today, there is a Mastermind board game, some great books and obscure albums. They are always so nice and always remember me.In the past I've found clothes furniture and random electronics. If I lived locally, I'd be here all the time!

Very responsive for pickups. While other organizations like ReStore wouldn't pick up for a month or more, or not at all, McAlister came out within a week. They arrived during the window of time they originally quoted and were very communicative on the pickup day. Drivers were friendly and took everything I gave them. Will donate again given the smooth experience.

McAlister's thrift store is a hot mess express. It always looks like someone drove a truck up to the front door and just dumped a bunch of stuff inside. It's hard to navigate, and is it visually overstimulating. There is a hodgepodge of clothing, home decor, and last time I was there a lot of adult diapers. The prices seem OK, but it's such a mess in there. Drive down the street to the veterans thrift store instead.

There's a lot of good things to be found here though you have to be willing to look and also check back often. The prices are decent, always 50% off the marked price.

One of my favorite thrift stores! Prices are decent and the staff is very friendly. Only issue is the parking can be a nightmare at times.

I only bought one thing for $4 but I really loved the intimate feel to the store. The lovely woman behind the counter even offered me a brownie. I'll actually be going bk today.

This is not a for profit thrift corporation. Every dollar goes to help our neighbors. Not to fill the pockets of CEOs and share holders. It's not a front like the Goodwill and other corporation. There's a big difference between thrift stores. We can help our neighbors. Our make a CEO richer.
