MIT did a great job swapping the gears in my 2003 GMC Sierra 1500hd to 4:10s in addition to adding a Detroit truetrac limited slip differential. They were fast, very friendly, and went above and beyond with their customer service. I would highly recommend them for anyone who has drivetrain needs.

I highly recommend MIT. My Ford F-150 wouldn't shift into 4 wheel drive. Ask a mechanic at Roy Wheeler, who I highly recommend, if they work on 4x4s and said they don't but MIT does. Took my truck to MIT and was really impressed with the way the shop handled the problem with my truck. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I was quoted a price and that is what I paid. I live at the coast and have to fight the traffic on the I-8 to get to MIT in El Cajon but it is worth the drive to get such good service.

I was very impressed with the workmanship, efficiency, customer support and the cost of getting my rear differential on my Classic 87 Ford bronco repaired and back on the road… I’m very happy to give MIT 5 stars and I’ll be back as a repeat customer

I was recommended by my mechanic at San Diego Trux. I called MIT and set up an appointment. They got me right in and diagnose the issue. Before I go any further I want to point out that the issue was diagnose properly by years of experience. They told me how much it would be and what other possibilities, knew it was in my differential but could give me 100% once they opened up my rear end. I have a 2019 Toyota Tundra and tow a toy hauler. I started to hear a grinding noise….not loud but it was there. After taking it to MIT they told me my issue and got me in to the first appointment they had. They finished in one day….thats was a life saver because I don’t have an extra vehicle. Once I picked it up and drove it home everything was whisper quiet. I was amazed at the customer service and mostly how they kept their word on when, price, and how long. Super impressed with the crew over there. Highly recommended them for any rear end axel/differential work.

The people at MIT are some of the most helpful people I have come across while trying to work on my car. It’s great to have found a shop, as a young women that’s, that treats me as an equal and doesn’t want to just work on my car for the money. I had another place take 1,400 deposit from me for gears then 2 weeks went by and I called and they never ordered the parts, this brought me to MIT, from the very beginning they were helpful, informative, very knowledgeable and only needed 200 for deposit and also scheduled me within a few days. The whole team was perfect from start to finish and answered any and all of my questions, offered me expert advice on gear oil, and assisted me in the changing of the oil after the 500 mile break in. I received the highest quality parts and service and couldn't be happier. 2018 F150 did 4.10 Sierra gears and an eaton trutrac. MIT rips!!

MIT specialist assisted me with quick look prior to service on my truck. Preliminary diagnosis was right-on and I had my truck back the same day I dropped it off. It's nice to work with people that you can depend on and trust.

My jeep had a bent axle housing and damaged axle. MIT did an amazing job of repairing both. I would recommend them to anyone who has an off road vehicle and is in need of service. They're more than fair and reasonable; and the work is excellent
