Very knowledgeable. Promptly diagnosed problem and was able to fix it. Furnace part was under warranty however the labor was not and this was quite expensive ($400/hr). Also the initial diagnosis visit was not free. Nevertheless problem was solved in a prompt manner.

I really tried to give this company a chance, but at this juncture, there is something seriously wrong. From my perspective they just aren't experts on the mini split front. They had to come out to repair their initial work at least 10 times, maybe more. On one of the repair days, the owner admitted he had novice installers do my installation, which was why a bunch of the connections weren't secured (and why we had a bunch of leaks). Some of the leaks just missed my son's PC. Oh, and every time we called with a problem, the service guys they sent were so rude! As if it was our fault or they were bothered to have to keep coming out. We paid upwards of 15k for these splits, so having problems right away and then ongoing has been a huge disappointment. We also paid extra to have them do routine servicing of the filters (so we don't have to), which has been another problem because whatever they did, one of the mini splits now makes a gurgling sound even when off. My son can't sleep and there's nothing I can do to make it stop. Here's the deal- they might be really great at other things, but I wouldn't hire them to install mini splits. It's been a misery.

This company installed mini splits for us in 2022; we recently needed them to move our outside unit for renovations. They are wonderful to work with, professional, and are easily reachable. I would recommend them most definitely.Service: Portable A/C services

Liberty was recommended by a friend. They installed Mitsubishi split-type air conditioners for me in 2017. There was one major problem with the installation which they responded to and repaired immediately. Since then, the system has worked well and I have had them out for preventive maintenance periodically. They’ve had some problems getting a technician to my home when scheduled recently, but Chris, who finally came, seemed to do a very thorough and professional job. I really appreciate Liberty Michanical, they were fast to jump into action when our A/C unit went on the fritz. Our mechanic Lawrence was informative and helpful in breaking down everything going on with the unit. He explained the plan to fix the problem clearly and concisely. Our household also purchased a 1 year maintenance plan on-top of the part that was needed. And with all that he did, their servicing total was at a really great price. More than reasonable in fact. We love this company, they give you that part of the Family feeling. We plan to always stay with Liberty Michanical. And hopefully keep getting Lawrence as our HVAC mechanic. He is friendly, informative, professional, and does a excellent job. Highly recommend this company for anyone having heating or air conditioning needs.Service: A/C system repair

Had a great experience working with Jake from Liberty Mechanical to diagnose our AC system which was not cooling down our house. Liberty scheduled us in the next day and arrived promptly and quickly determined the cause was low refrigerant and refilled the system. They also inspected our HVAC system and noticed our furnace exhaust was not properly installed. He scheduled us in to return the following week and correct the issue and also add leak stop into our AC system to prevent future refrigerant loss. Very honest service and efficient repair with no attempt to upsell or do unnecessary repairs. Would definitely recommend Liberty to anyone with HVAC service needs in San Diego county.
