I recently sold my jeep to Lexus of El Cajon and I couldn’t be happier with the process. Kolton Burberry and Mike R. was very friendly, professional, and fair. They gave me a great offer for my jeep and handled all the paperwork quickly and smoothly. Kolton also answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole transaction. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a car. They are honest, reliable, and customer-oriented. Thank you, Kolton and Mike, for making this a pleasant and hassle-free experience!

Great dealership with friendly people. Alex is the best service advisor I’ve had. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future!

You guys have continued to double down on this. This behavior is just so infuriating, considering you took advantage of this heinous extreme labor charge, without even attempting to give me a slight solution to my issue. I do not believe you guys had any intention to install this part (which would be 500 extra dollars) for free. You took advantage of my parents (immigrants) who wanted their daughter's car fixed. You charged insane prices, to FIX my car, but instead I came back with my car who's condition had not changed at all. You took advantage of us. Point blank period. I will continue leaving my reviews up for everyone to know that they should go to other auto-repairs, especially those that are not controlled by a corporate. You will be left unsatisfied. I ended up going to a different auto-repair shop (a smaller, lesser known one) who was baffled by not only the price, but how the mechanics at Lexus failed to see there was an easier hack solution... to take out the fuse causing the issue which these guys did not do, and instead took out major pieces of my car and led my trunk switch in car TO NOT WORK. So, not only did he essentially remove the battery drain issue, the chime issue, and pretty much everything else, but he also charged an amazing rate. I am grateful for going to the new auto-repair, and know definitely to NEVER give Lexus dealership my business again. I hope this review goes out to anyone desperate to have their older or newer car fixed.Do not respond further. I will not change or remove any of my responses.

I was told my older car (97') would go through a diagnostic to fix a sudden issue (constant chiming sound which was thought to be from a broken mechanism inside the steering module). Then received a call telling me to 'repair' the car was going to be more costly as the diagnostic pinged something on the fuse box or surrounding wires because of a leaking charge resulting in a whopping charge of 738 (initial diagnostic + labor + fix). Received another call from them saying that the mechanic has 'never seen this before' and that the problem is thought to be my fuse junction which isn't currently in manufacturing. This occurred over a whole week, and each time it was stated that their 'repair + diagnostic' would take a day (after each call).I was given 2 options: 1. Take my car back; 2. Find the part, buy it, ship it, send it to them (likely an extra 500 for the part and possibly extra for this 'labor charge'). We decided to bring the car back, HOWEVER they decided to charge us the full 738 when they originally promised a fix/repair, and gave such a non-answer for the issue of our car. We developed massive mistrust when it was stated that the mechanic had 'never seen this issue before' and that they 'believed it was the fuse junction.'My car was not fixed. Anybody could say something might be the problem, and coming to this place where the manager refused to understand that we paid for a repair/fix and didn't receive it + stated all this was labor charge (~530) but they put extra time into this car (We don't have proof of that in the first place and was such an odd thing to say at that time?) was insanely ridiculous. We were looking for an answer and a solution and only received a maybe-answer, and yet was charged in full for the sole reason pegged as labor charge. Extremely unhappy with this service.I dealt with Alex Uribe initially, but at the time of me picking up the car it was someone who stated they were the technical manager (unsure of his name).

Incompetent team that takes too long to figure out an issue with a Lexus car; it makes no sense that a place specializing in this brand of cars cannot recognize issues and fix them accordingly.Communication was unclear, and overall not very helpful.Charging extraordinary fees and labor costs for doing nothing to resolve an issue with a vehicle; and to take several days to achieve that as well.

Buyer beware .. read the fine print in the sale price terms and conditions. It's mandatory that you pay for the Lexus El Cajon Protection Package. I was interested in buying a ES they had advertised. Spoke to the sales manager who then passed my number to another sales guy. The sales guy played games with me. Text me and called me to come in but I wanted to negotiate a price over the phone to save time. He asked me not to use the online portal and let his manager call me back. Nobody ever called. He text me a few weeks later asking if I was still interested. I'm glad I read the fine print saved me time, money and gas.

Those guys worked hard to find me my new IS500. The process was easy and the deal was way better than any other Lexus dealership that I called within 500 mile radius! Let’s just say I saved $$$$.$$!!! Shout out to Peter and his sales manager on making this deal.

Alex is a wonderful service advisor and we enjoy dealing with him. I'm thankful that this small dealership keeps the class and exceptional service despite the homeless population that surrounds this dealer.

I would have bought a Lexus NX Hybrid if they ever had any in stock in 2023. I previously bought a CPO RX 350 from this dealership and as far as car dealerships go in San Diego, they are a good one.

A review from two years ago stated that this dealer listed the "Car was listed for one price and sales manager added $2800 to price. Add-ons were for clear coat and ID etching, and a highly inflated price for Safeguard."Well, they are still at it, they list a Lexus we were interested in for 59k, then sent me this email with the add-ons.“Hi Tim,Here is the dealer protection package that I mentioned.Dealer Protection Package:1: Stargard - GPS Security tracking device to recover from theft. Most insurance companies will give you a better rate with this too.2: Etchcode - An ultraviolet etch that goes on the front two doors, the hood, trunk and the engine bay. Etchcode pays you $2,500 if your vehicle is stolen and can't recover the parts. This also serves as a theft deterrent.3: Clear Shield - A shield installed around the trim and door handles to prevent scratches and nicks.4: Sani-Check - A process done to the vehicle to prevent viruses including covid or virus can live inside the vehicle for up to 7 years.”I didn't want these upgrades, but it seems this dealer is intent on inflating the price for items that cost about 3/4 of what they are charging.Additionally, under California Vehicle Code section 11713.1(e), when car dealers publish advertisements for cars and trucks, and those ads include asking prices, then the dealers are prohibited from selling the advertised vehicles for more than their advertised prices, unless the ads specifically list expiration dates that have passed. Further, Section 260.04(b) of the regulations promulgated by California’s Department of Motor Vehicles further mandates that advertised vehicles “must be sold at or below the advertised price irrespective of whether or not the advertised price has been communicated to the purchaser.”Seems that this dealer feels that they are above the law, this practice has been documented in reviews by other customers and customers are still getting the short end of the stick.
