I have just recently discovered this gem ? of a market. The layout of the store is extremely well designed. I especially like that they carry items you cannot buy anywhere else. I upon recommendation from another patron bought some raw tortillas. I had never heard of them. He claimed they reminded him of the tortillas he ate when he was growing up in Sandiego. We tried them tonight and they made awesome burritos.One can really get carried away in there buying all kinds of things. The butcher was extremely knowledgeable and all the meat looked fresh and had just the right amount of fat to be flavorful and delicious ?. Love the way the fresh flowers are right in front. So easy to pick a bunch up,buy them and take them home ?.I plan to make many shopping trips there since I've been going to their neighbors Club Pilates to work out. Crafted Greens ? and the sushi bar are wonderful also. I've found my home away from home ?. Can't wait to go back and see what else I can discover. Thanks for a great shopping experience. Upon entering I was kindly greeted by Niran at the register. I came here because they have the Best Tortilla Chips hands down!!!! They are perfect, light and yummy!!!

Harvest Ranch has some amazing items but I'm getting frustrated with the lack of "fresh" items. Their produce is always looking like it's been sitting way too long and they always have items for sale that are expired. I asked the check lady why their stuff is always expired and she laughed! I only go there when I need something quick but it is so frustrating.I like that this place is not a traditional store and I want to support but if you are going to overcharge, can you at least make sure your product is not outdated?

A fantastic family market, with wines, delicious deli,vegetables cheeses (hard to find cheeses) a meat counter that blew my mind HUGE !!!! tomahawk steaks, 3 bone dinosaur roast and think ribeyes. A tad bit expensive,,,but I'm going to be back for the tomahawk steaks for sure

Great products and outstanding quality of goods. But I recommend watching when checking out. I was charged for an item that was not in my basket. And afterwards checker had a tough time identifying the produce I was purchasing

Still Super expensive 2 to 4 dollars more for certain items example gal of water 3.49 out of your mind gluten free bread 9.99 ridiculous Sprouts is 4.99 ,5.00 more really! they only care about making a buck not about the consumer.. SMH

Since ownership has changed Harvest Ranch has become too expensive and the food is poor quality. There are flies in the meat case and the produce is not fresh. The pre-made food at best is edible but not enjoyable. Why pay an exorbitant amount of money for poor quality food.

Costco was closed, so I was looking for a place that sold prime ribeye steaks that was open on Memorial Day and a friend recommended Harvest Ranch. Obviously not inexpensive at $39.99 per lb. To be very honest prime is prime, so I'll get my prime ribeye at Costco, a lot less expensive at $15.99 per lb.! They have a big selection of different kind of shish kebabs! My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of food items they have. A nice bakery with a lot of different types of individual size cake deserts. We bought two different kind of cheese cakes deserts and I will have to say we were disappointed. They were dried out and kind of hard to put a fork into it.

I love this unique specialty store, mostly for the prepared foods. I am terribly sad that the City of El Cajon shut down their long-time BBQing in the parking lot. It was the best in the San Diego area, and now it's gone. We were frequent buyers of the delicious tomahawk steaks and rack of ribs fresh off the grill. I'm so devastated! It's still a wonderful store, so please stop by the deli counter!

I'm extremely local and so tired of shopping here. It's always been overpriced but you know that walking in. Final straw was buying produce the other day and pretty much all of it turned out to be rotten or molded. I'm so disappointed with this place I won't go back.

Have not been here in about 20 years. Just stopped in this afternoon. Service at the Butcher counter was outstanding and the checkout cashier was pleasant and helpful in assisting us with finding the items we were looking for. We will be back!
