They gave me an offer on my 2014 Pathfinder for $7000 and when it came time they lowered it to $5000. I sold it to CarMax for $8400. Beware of them.

Sold my 2013 Toyota Sienna. Very easy sales process. Originally did an online submission and was candid about the minor flaws on an 11 year old minivan. I included pictures. I received a fair quote via email within an hour. Took the car in for the required inspection at Driveo. Inspection took about 20 minutes. Original quote was honored. Sold the car. Mike in the car buying department made the process super easy. No haggling, no back and forth. Just a stream line process to sell your car.

Got a quick online quote from driveo and it was more than 2k more than carmax. When I got the car inspected it was docked 1k for a plausible reason so I still went with them.

Mike and the team at Driveo were really easy to work with. I got a quick and fair quote for my daughter’s car. I was in and out with a check in less than an hour. I highly recommend Driveo.

Selling a car here was an absolute breeze. I was dreading the experience but it could have not been more easy and stress free. I hardly ever write reviews on places, good or bad but I am actually shocked on how easy the process was. I was in and out within 45 minutes. Mike was great also. Very helpful.

The good-looking sales agent from Belarus is the best at Driveo. I sold my minivan yesterday at a great price but forgot my leaf blower inside. He kept it and returned it immediately. Great service and top-notch agent. Look no further!

Wasted time- just for them to tell me my car was flooded ? Interesting .. since it never was. All those repetitive phone calls from them, driving to El cajon from pb. TWICE all to just be told. No whatever

The guys at Driveo are easy to work with. I sent in my estimate on line and included photos as requested. I thought the price was fair so I scheduled a visit. The process from getting there to leaving took about an hour as my truck had to be inspected. I did get what they quoted and it was an easy decision for me to sell my truck.

The easiest car-selling experience to date. Steps were: online quote, scheduled an appointment, 45 minutes in person - and walked out with a check for the original quote. Very happy with our experience.

I had an appointment at Driveo/Auto City yesterday cause I am considering selling my car that I bought from them. They took my car back for “inspection”, meaning to connect the car to the computer and came back with the document attached.
Apparently my car is infested with rodents, the guy told me. It is very obvious when you open the hood that rodents have been living in there, chewing on wires and destroying the engine.
Then he said a code pops up, P0301 which means misfire on cylinder 1. I informed him that I was aware of the issue and it was fixed recently. I informed him that I’ve driven the car a handful of times since then and that’s probably why it still pops up. He went on to tell me that apparently it hasn’t been fixed, computers don’t lie, probably the rodents ate the cords and he needs to deduct 2K from the price cause he is taking a chance on my car. I straight up asked him if he is really trying to deduct 2K for something that probably costs $50 to fix. He said he knows about cars and misfire can cost up to 3K (??). The coil and spark plugs x4 from a retail store cost me $150 but for him, wholesale will be over 2K for just one!!! Are you sure you know what you are talking about??
Apart from that, he said that he needs to deduct another $1150 for some surface scratches and small dents. Here’s my issue with that. I bought the car from them with those scratches and dents. I asked for credit when I bought it to fix it and I was told that the car is being sold “as is”. They even went as far as painting over them with a white marker. Now for them to buy it back they want to charge me for it? I already have an estimate for fixing those for $380. But again for them, a dealership, it will cost over $1K. Don’t get me started on the “surface rust”, dude where?
No word or credit for the upgrades on the car that looks 100 times better than when I bought it years ago!!
They ended up offering me the lowest amount of all. Considering the market value on the same exact car with the same miles, they were just trying to take advantage of the situation cause I am a female✨ and he “knows better”!
As a responsible car owner I drove straight to my mechanic to address all the issues above. My mechanic ran tests, test drove it, literally turned my car inside out. Absolutely no signs or rodent infestation (or rodents in general), the misfire code was because it takes some time for the car to reset after changing the spark plug and coil. Per my mechanic “the car is in excellent condition, it’s obvious that it’s been taken care of properly and the estimate they gave me is shameful to say the least”. Absolutely unacceptable in my opinion!! They prey on people that are in need, ripping them off. Unfortunately for them, I was not that desperate to sell, I want to sell cause I haven’t been using it as often as I would like and cars are meant to be used!! Moral of the story is, DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! Make sure you know your car before stepping foot in there. Pay a visit to an actual mechanic first!!

Better stay away from this service. Like Carvana, CarMax, they will give you the lowest amount for your car

I recently sold my 2017 Jetta to Driveo at El Cajon, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. Despite not having the title on hand, the team at Driveo, especially Mike, made the entire process smooth and hassle-free. Mike assisted me in resolving the title issue quickly and efficiently. Within a short time, I walked away with a check in hand. The staff was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Driveo for anyone looking to sell their car with ease. Thank you, Driveo, and special thanks to Mike for an exceptional experience!
