Horrible experience! My family spent the weekend here two weeks ago for an event in El Cajon. On the second day of our stay my shoes were missing from the room. Had to run all around town that night to find a new pair. Spoke to hotel staff and were not very helpful. After two weeks and several phone calls/voice mails trying to get a hold of the assistant GM of the property (Juan) I finally got a hold of him. He pretty much went straight to his point and said there is nothing we can do about it. He was not very friendly and didn’t even bother trying to look into the incident or do any type of investigation. Don’t trust this hotel! Several other great leisure/business hotels in the San Diego El Cajon area!Safety: Don’t trust this hotel! Unfriendly and will not look into an incident.

Wonderful location and hotel. Great room and great shower.Breakfast service left a lot to be desired.Busy giving a math class to staff, paying customer left waiting. Delayed me for my meeting. Although a great breakfast, I'll skip this step next time.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are clean great but the manager Terry she have a very Bad attitude shouldn’t be manager the another employee staff member front desk. They are the best I would prefer to take my business somewhere else.Rooms: very nice rooms and clean quiet I like it

Customer service was great in the afternoon but the night attendee oh she's an angry one. I was charged for my service animal of 20.00 and want to know how that is legal? That was my only disappointment.

I’m really disappointed with the lack of customer service from Marriott. We checked in and noticed the note after the agent swiped my credit card. I shared with the agent I can’t stay here if the water will be off for 10 hours. No one mentioned this and if we didn’t see the note attached we would have been in for a big surprise. The young lady informed us that we would be charged for one night regardless if we stayed. I didn’t feel this was the right thing to do so I called Bonvoy customer service and they stated they would need to check with the location. 180.00 per night total of 360.00 -2 rooms is significant especially if you didn’t stay at this location. I’ve decided to avoid Marriott properties.

Unfortunately, the worst customer services ever i sow in my life. Lorna, the front desk lady is unprofessional and disrespectful and very rude.My wife called asked that we need a baby crib for my 3 month old baby and she told her that we don't have for this night. I went to the lobby to check with her (Lorna) is that right that hotel like Marriott they don't have a baby crib and once i asked her that my wife called you about the crib, she told me i already told your wife that we don't have at all the baby crib in the Marriott hotel !!! and you don't need to ask me another time.She disrespect me and keep told me (good night, good night, good night) She makes me feel I'm unwelcome in the hotel. To be honest the room is clean and the location is good but the customer service is very bad ?.

Clean, quiet, modernized Courtyard. Great lobby with lots of places to sit. Easy access to the I-8 freeway and lots of eateries within walking distance. Staff is very accommodating. Prices are fair. Great fitness room and pool. Lots of parking in the evening.

Came here on a business trip on 11/21 and went to get a drink that evening. Abraham who was the bartender was superb. He was friendly, knowledgeable in the drinks and he was the friendliest bartender I've had to date. He suggest a couple of drinks that we had to try because of how he described them.

It was very, very expensive! For what!?? I don't know! This place had NOTHING! NO breakfast, NO coffee! It has a BAR!! That is it! If I could get the $600.00 for 2 nights back, I would!! It's NOT a good area. More like..well, Iran or Shaheeb! We were all disappointed in this hotel! By the way, the beds felt like we were sleeping on bedrock from the Flintstones! TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!Rooms: HARD ROCK BEDS!

Unfortunately, they lack of customer services. Lauren, the front desk lady is unprofessional and does not have basics of communication skills (No eye contacts) She is rude. She doesn’t explain all services provided by the hotel. She makes you feel you’re unwelcome in the hotel. Our room was not clean; we found a dirty sock underneath the sofa bed and a plastic seal (ones used in sealing medicine bottles). Decorative pillows had disgusting and dirty spots. The manager offered a different room after I’d showed her all unexpected items.Please view below pictures ?

Came here for a short two-day business trip. The location is great, walking distance to some shops and restaurants on main street. Rooms are clean and the fixtures are up to date, and check in and out process was easy. My only marks against are that as with many hotels, the air conditioners can be loud and the walls can be thin. Overall, though, I'd definitely stay here again.
