Maura totally knows her stuff when it comes to nailing that perfect blonde look !! Her salon vibes are just awesome, and she's super cool and friendly. I asked for this stunning grayish-white blonde with a bit of my natural roots showing, and she nailed it! Plus, when she worked her magic with my tape-in extensions, they blended so perfectly, it seriously looks like it's all my real hair! She's just amazing !!

Kerry is an amazing stylist, she really listens to you and offers advice and options. She knew I wasn't quite ready to let all my gray hair come in (I tried) so she blended my gray and toned down my brassy blonde color. I wanted a new cut to give me more age appropriate style and BAM! Kerry gave me exactly what I wanted. I LOVE my hair and will always go back to Kerry, she's amazing!

I have been going to Maura for over 15 years!!! This place moved a few years ago and I followed them of course! It's located right next to little Caesar's in Rancho San Diego. The cutest salon! It's always super clean. Everyone there is very nice! Maura is amazing! I'm always changing my hair and she knows exactly what I want when I tell her what to do with my hair. I bring my 8 year old daughter here too since she was 3 years old. She gets so excited to see Maura! Thank you so much for making me feel fresh every time I leave

Went to House of stylez because I kept seeing it from across the street at the grocery store. Thought I'd give it a shot. Maura worked on my hair and gave me exactly what I was looking for and an honest opinion, at that. I am super happy with my drastic change and would recommend her to everyone I know! I will definitely be going back.

***AMY*** She's amazing, every single time. The style, the attention to detail is always perfection. She practically reads my mind, and I do not have to explain in detail of the look that I am going for. She nails it every time! Her blow outs are the longest lasting ones I've had. Which makes my life easier! I've recommended her to plenty of my friends and all they have thanked me and have been extremely pleased with her service. This place is hidden next to Little Cesars in Rancho San Diego. They have about 5 hair stylists booths and two manicuring stations. I went in on a Saturday it was not super crowded but there was a constant flow of customers. My hair stylist was Kerry Brewer. She is very sweet and personable and worked wonders with my hair. I needed a cut and color. I asked her what color she thought would be best for me and she recommended chocolate brown for my skin tone. I'm glad I went with her choice. For the cut, I didn't want to loose length, she stated my hair was damaged and split and she would need to cut some of it off to make it healthy again. She then layered it in a way that I feel complimented my face shape. Overall, I feel like a brand new person and I'm excited to rock my new look.

This salon is always clean, very professional fun atmosphere....kerry does my hair and has always done an amazing job. I have curly hair and it's hard to cut and color but she takes the time to do it and do it right. I just had a complete hair color change and it came out amazing absolutely love it and people say it makes me look younger

This is their new stylish location after moving from the other side of Rancho San Diego. Now it sits right on the main road in the Starbucks shopping center. They accept walk-ins but it's better if you call ahead of time and make an appointment. Maura is the owner, Kerry was my stylist, and there were other hair stylists providing up-do's and curling customers hair. I had some gray hairs and color blotches to take care of. Kerry is a great listener, she provided some ideas of how to go about fixing the issues, and blended up a pretty warm brown color/highlights to match my natural hair color. She also saw that my hair cut from another salon was not tapered well at the edges so she cleaned that up for me as well. She gives a great scalp massage. Kerry is amazing and so much fun to talk with. While I waited for my color, she offered me water/coffee, and magazines. Note* She rents the chair here so when you pay it has to be check, venmo app, or cash. You can also get your nails, make-up, and a spray tan done all in the same place. This is perfect for a one stop shop, getting vacation ready, and before special events. The prices are reasonable. The ladies are all gorgeous and are super sweet and fun. It's very clean and modern looking-the lights are whimsical and it's not too hot in there. I will definitely be a repeat customer here and totally recommend all ages to visit House of Stylez!

Finding Kerry Brewer to cut & style my hair has been the most wonderful blessing! When I started going to her my hair was damaged and lifeless. She has worked magic on my hair & shows me how to style it in easy ways that don't take a ton of time! I have sent people to Kerry as well after they compliment my hair she never ever gives anything but the best!! I've changed my hair color kerry does a phenomenal job!! I just did a new look for the holidays!! I love love her skill and professional approach book today!
