“I have just recently discovered this gem ? of a market. The layout of the store is extremely well designed. I especially like that they carry items you cannot buy anywhere else. I upon recommendation from another patron bought some raw tortillas. I had never heard of them. He claimed they reminded him of the tortillas he ate when he was growing up in Sandiego. We tried them tonight and they made awesome burritos. One can really get carried away in there buying all kinds of things. The butcher was extremely knowledgeable and all the meat looked fresh and had just the right amount of fat to be flavorful and delicious ?. Love the way the fresh flowers are right in front. So easy to pick a bunch up,buy them and take them home ?.I plan to make many shopping trips there since I've been going to their neighbors Club Pilates to work out. Crafted Greens ? and the sushi bar are wonderful also. I've found my home away from home ?. Can't wait to go back and see what else I can discover. Thanks for a great shopping experience. “Stopped in earlier Today, Nick was super helpful. I’m a novice when it comes to buying and preparing fine meats.. he took the time to give great recommendations that wouldn’t break the bank. Awesome experience I would definitely recommend everyone in the San Diego area to check it out!”

“It's family owned and they're very friendly and helpful. They are involved in the community. T1hey usual put on a community Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner that is free for all, especially the homeless. Louis market is part convenience store, produce stand and gift shop. Most items for sale are reasonable. They used to have a wonderful deli, but have closed it since the person who ran it fell ill. It's an asset to the community it serves.”

“I recently discovered this place as it was recommended by my brother. I buy the seasoned paleta or lomo de res and it is delicious! The slices are thin and the texture is perfect. My kids usually are not fans of carne asada but when I buy it here they love it. I highly recommend this place. Their staff is also very friendly and helpful.”
