This store used to be great! Over the past couple of years the availability of wrangler styles and sizes has declined. They stopped stocking oiled dusters and saddle jackets. The hat selection is horrible. Not everyone wants a taco shell for a hat and if you wear long oval forget about it. They are told to tell customers that the hat fits and looks well just to sell them and that's not good customer service. The Ariat pro series shirt selection sucks. They stopped carrying Chippewa loggers. Staff says they are gearing more towards fashion now. What about horsemen and workers that want tried and true products?! The sales aren't as good as they used to be, and if you're stuck with online purchases you can find products much cheaper, as they are about $15 to $25 more expensive now. They push Cody James (their brand) and its junk. It's sad that this is just about the only western store in San Diego.

I love the Bootbarn. The staff is always friendly and helpful when I come in. The biggest plus is that they stretch your boot shafts for you, and I just found this out. I always struggle to find cute boots because I don't have small calves and they don't always carry the wide shaft in store. Now I can pick any boot I want!

Excellent assortment of denim clothing, incredible assortment of boots for men, women and children, at reasonable prices, however some products do not have all sizes, I was looking for an L vest and they only had sizes M and XL

My family loves shopping at Boot Barn ,We were visiting from Las Vegas on Christmas Eve at the El Cajon location. I must say I had the best experience with the delightful workers there. They were so helpful and kind , We took quite sometime with needing help picking out boots and such , the gentleman was extremely friendly and happy to help us find the right fit. Best Boot barn in my opinion!!

Went in tonight 12/17 on a busy night 8 days till Christmas. I went straight to the register asking for help to find a previous purchases as I wanted to buy my husband the same work boots he likes. Max took the time with a long line of people to find the boots then got them for me and rang them up without me having to get back into line. I appreciated his patience and willingness to help me. Way to go Max!!! Thank You

I went in to boot barn last week to buy some new boots for a friend of mine. I patiently waited for someone to help me but all the employees were busy helping other customers as they should be. I found a employee named Kiana she was standing around so I asked her for help. And her response was so rude and disrespectful she let out a very obnoxious sigh and said I'm busy at the moment. I couldn't believe it she was just standing there the only employee not doing anything. She tried to get a different employee to help me but they were assisting another customer. She said someone will be with you shortly so I patiently waited next to her and she pulled out her phone to scroll through Uber eats! I left the store and won't be coming back. Completely lazy and disrespectful

I must have been invisible today. I stopped in to see if they had a hat in my size that another location I recently visited didn't have. This location not only didn't have it in my size but I was NEVER acknowledged as ever being in the store. No one greeted me, nor did anyone assist me. I walked out of the store hatless, except for the one I walked in with. I did appreciate the fact that they had Christmas music playing. I can't comment on value as I walked out empty handed. Did I mention no one acknowledged my presence in the store. To be fair they did seem to be short handed.

They have a good selection of clothing although rather pricey still cute things for women really nice selection of Boots for women and menWent in there for a new belt had sticker shock 80.00 for a belt nothing fancy about it either the employees seem nice enough but watch you like a hawk kind of an uncomfortable experience even though you spend close to 300.00 I guess they still think your shady..lol
