I feel compelled to warn others about my experience with this bank location. Recently, my debit card was skimmed, leading to unauthorized withdrawals from my account. Despite clear evidence of fraudulent activity, the resolution process has been agonizingly slow. Waiting 90 days for reimbursement has put me in a difficult financial situation. I'm still in the midst of this waiting period, and the uncertainty is deeply frustrating. I strongly advise others to exercise caution and consider alternative banking options to avoid similar frustrations.

Maybe it's just because I didn't want to have the rest of my cash on me after getting gas & BofA was only 1 minute from where I got gas.. but it seems that every time I've been in this area & needed to use the ATM drive thru there's sketchy ppl just hanging around the Banks parking lot!! It's tacky & honestly gives me an alerted feeling every time ? Idk if this necessarily qualifies as any fault of the Bank's but it unfortunately does impact my thoughts of recommending this location to anyone I know let alone a stranger; unless of course I just forwarn going after sunset! ??♀️

Stopped by Bank of America three (3) seperate times to open accounts and they are a horrible staff and bank..Review below.845 Second Street El Cajon..First time went at very slow time with no customers in bank at all just staff.We sat down to open account and bank manager come to us and says he willbe with us in five minutes...45 minutes later still sitting there waiting for guy doing nothing to help us.Finally left in disgust...Horrible mopey slowworker with no one else there but workers and a few deposit people.2nd and 3rd days same crap no one at all but us sitting and waiting and waiting 30-40 minutes and no one came to help us..We would totally understand if there was even one other person there withthere worker...there was no one.Id say they lost several accounts with us and tell everyone they are way beyond horrible,mopey with no a care in the world..We went and opened all our accounts at another big bank in 10 minutes.Reccommend to go elsewhere.

I had a very very very worst experience with the worker in this bank ever, the workers dealed me ruined, roughly, badly speech, without any respect without any fault I did , Specifically the Senior banker women , Tall, thin woman with black hair, Turkish nationality, and dismissed me also next day she order other senior banker man not to see me.I'm very sad with disappointment and I'll close my account with this bank and never come to this branch. I had ever seen like this worker ever in other banks. She abuses me too much and she hate other nationalities and she racism.

Absolutely ridiculous the teller said "we can not take a small bag of coins". He said in order for them to accept coins it has to be rolled or only a few coins. Can not a bag of coins which is only $3 total in change. $1 in quarters and $1 in dimes and the rest were pennies and couple dimes. Absolutely ridiculous. It is this encounter that makes me want to switch from Bank of America to another bank. Absolutely hope corporate sees this cuz this is freaking ridiculous. Won't accept $3 in change cuz apparently it's too much.Edit10/05/23I don't know if it is this location or what but I continue to have problems at this location. I was told by customer service on the website if I want a temporary Bank of America debit card I can walk into a Bank of America branch and get a temporary card. On this date I was told by a banker I can't get a temporary debit card because they stopped it in 2020. He said you can do digital wallet or if you need cash go to the counter teller.

I had a horrible experience today at Bank of America. The manager Shahin Champiri was extremely rude to me. After dealing with his attitude I asked to close my account and he laughed at me! Shahin Champiri should NOT be working in a customer service oriented industry.

Worst customer service ever! I'd much rather take my money elsewhere but for now I'll just go to a different Bank of America. The other location helped me with no problems so not sure why the team there is so unhelpful maybe it's because I'm not middle eastern.

I will have to say that this bank has completely downhill....went to the bank on Sunday the 2nd of July...yeah 3 out of 4 atms we're not working!! This is the second month of only 1or 2 working machines, so very frustrating...kinda wonder if my money is safe now!? Get it together BOA!

Worst banking experience in 68 years. Cancelled all accounts and credit card. If you try this bank and this branch please be careful. Go to US Bank. These folks have no idea what a bank is for. You have been notified. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I haaaaaate to be that person but this bank of America is pretty bad. I get being understaffed but Ive been standing in line for half an hour because they only ever have one teller working at a time.Why do you guys only have one person at the window ? It's so weird for a bank.

The lot was empty. It usually is on the weekend. I've not been to this location during the week so I don't know what it's like at that time.There were two ATMs for the drive through and 2 on the side. 2nd ave is a disaster though, so it's a trade off.

Unpleasant experience with branch manager (no name tag, female) who scolded me during withdrawing cash from my account at the teller window. I was asking to exchange damaged/marked $100 bills for non damaged $100. She mentioned that I should make an appointment , but it was never offered to me when I notified branch 2 days earlier about my plans to withdrew cash. If customer line was too big with only 2 tellers available, she would rather help as extra teller, instead of arguing with me. What the attitude !

This bank is horrible now. I've been banking here since 1999 and everyone I come in there is ONE teller! Done with this bank. I am a business owner and would Never have one teller!
