A straightforward small local market. Don't expect amazing service, don't expect more. If you want the products they sell and they do have some great products then you get them at decent prices.As reported by many others their hand made bread is amazing.They have a limited selection as it is a small store but they do have amazing options.If you like Olives this is your store. The fresh baked breads are great, some unique cheeses, soda types I have never seen, cookies, coffees, and sweets.I love the options here and yes the service definitely lacks if you are not a regular or middle eastern. Not necessarily ride but not warm and friendly.Final evaluation, get in buy what you want get out, if you want a better family Market feeling then choose another location.

Bad customer servingNot friendly - you dont feel you welcomedI would never recomand this store to be honest - they got personal issueI was walking by outside in front the storeDoing a video about stores and arabic life in el cajon - as an iraqi youtuber if we in iraq they dont even say anything - even if we in iraq freedom to record -- so i vistied man many other stores in el cajon but they didnt said to me anything -- i feel im homeI was outside filming the store logo and name -- cashier start talking to me like she is my boss - said leave - we dont want u here and store owner dislike videos blah blah blah

I wish there is less than one star to give this business After 6 years of being a customer at this grocery shop, I was shocked this afternoon for one of the employees opening my shopping bags after I paid for them and searching the bags When I asked him what is he looking for The answer was that the business owner asked him to do that!!! Which he di not do for other customers but only me !!! And the guys was super rude he didn't even apologized I will never go there and I don't recommend this location for anyone I hope the business owner see my review and contact me if they really care about their customers

Good place to shop. Usually have pretty decent prices and is about a block away from Village Market where i love to have lunch some days. Family owned and very nice people.
