Wife and I had a great experience with American Comfort Services in getting a new Mini Split installed in our 1927 house. From the initial point of contact through Rafael coming on site for the quote (and being peppered with my wife's questions) through the excellent multi day install performed by Jason and Joel. Jason and Joel have 20 plus years experience and it showed in their work. Highly recommend and very competitive in pricing. Looking forward to a more energy efficient HVAC system going forward. Thank You ACS.

Paid for a tune up which includes cleaning the coil yet was quoted $350 to clean the coil on a 4 year old unit. Was upsold on a $350 stop leak because system was low on coolant again a 4 year old system. Total they wanted was $1700 to service outside system. I live out of the area and have multiple friends who own Hvac company's spoke to one owner and said that's all upscale items they don't do that because it's dishonest and turns clients off. The tech looking out for his pocket book instead of my interest turned me off to this company. It's a 4 year old system he kept saying not proper upkeep ect for his sales pitch. Also turned my system off and Saud it would leak inside unless I services which was also a lie there is a drain pan and drain in inside coil if the coil did get to cold it would drain there not into the house. Do what's right fir the client not your pocket book.

Amanda (in the office) was able to get us in next day (during our major heat wave)! Not only was she VERY kind, friendly & caring, Rafael, our technician, was also very kind & friendly, on time, texted us when he was on route, knows his “stuff”, & his service was A-MA-ZING! Very knowledgeable, efficient, explained everything clearly with pix on his tablet, offered us 3 repair options, & completed repairs in no time at all…HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business!!! ???

We highly recommend ACS for home heating and air conditioning. Our entire experience from initial discussions to quotation to final walk-through after completion was extreme satisfaction - we were repeatedly impressed. Jason and his team were super-knowledgeable about all possible options and walked us through the pros and cons of each - never any pressure to choose one over the other - just straight up honest, technical and pricing answers. They won our business and then delivered a new A/C/heating heat pump system on-time, on-budget and exactly what we agreed upon. Everyone on the ACS team was polite, took care to protect our home each and every day, and made each modification to our 40 year old house a professional, thorough job. We are so glad we pulled the trigger and chose ACS - one of our few home improvement projects where we can say the company chosen really took care of us and fully delivered what they promised. Every day during this warm summer we sit inside and wonder why we didn't do this sooner. We highly recommend ACS to anyone considering replacing or doing major repair to their heating or A/C system.

During yesterday’s heatwave our Minisplit was blowing hot air. At sunrise this morning I contacted American Comfort Services. With their busy schedule they fixed our AC by noon. Look no further and contact them if you want quality HVAC work done.. We highly recommend Jason and his crew.

I wish I could give this place a better review because the technician was really nice, but sadly that isn’t enough.
He came by and quickly determined that there were issues with the external portion of the AC system, which is why it wasn’t blowing cold air. This was all due to a failed motor and fuse. The issue was fixed for (ouch) $866 in about 30 minutes.
Fast forward several days. It is still working, but doesn’t seem cold enough. He then returns and says there’s a motor issue with the internal portion of the AC, plus the filter is clogged. The filter is my fault, I’ll admit, but is there a reason he didn’t check all of this the first time? Why wasn’t this all done at once? I spent an additional $400 and all is good now, but I can’t say that the technician was thorough. If he was, he would have checked everything the first time.
Edit to owner’s response: it’s not logical to say that in this case, some issues aren’t present at first. The tech did not even CHECK the filter, or the internal portion of the AC. Of course something isn’t detectable if you don’t check for it. Rating has been updated to reflect this disappointing response that doesn’t really take any ownership.

We recently decided to replace our aging heating system with a new A/C and heating system. When Jason from ACS came by, he helped us understand all of our options (including ballpark pricing, performance, etc.) and we ended up asking for a quote for central air/heat heat pump system. Their quote was extremely competitive and we were so impressed by our communications throughout the quoting process - we gave them the job. Less than a week later, the professional ACS team was on-site and working hard. Their entire staff was so professional, polite and they protected our home and cleaned up each day. And man, they knocked out a lot of work everyday - great teamwork, well managed, and they did great work. Our best ever experience. We highly recommend ACS for anyone needing AC or heating work.

Jason and his crew were absolutely awesome. They installed a complete a/c system to my parents house and did an impeccable job. They worked dilligagently, were very clean and we are just loving our new air conditioning. I highly recommend ACS.

Raphael responded quickly by coming out as soon possible and he identified the problem and then repaired our AC the same day. What a life saver! We will definitely be calling ACS again in the future for all of our central air needs.
