I have a 24 membership and this is the closest of their gyms to my home, but I often go to other locations because of their tolerance of members and guests ignoring rules.
Last night I went there for the pool and saw many of the usual rules being broken. Males wearing their boxer briefs instead of swimsuits, street shoes being worn on the pool tiles and into the sauna, and offensive music played from a personal speaker at high volume in the showers.
This location is also often plagued by the usual gym sins of people camping equipment with their towels or bags, bringing their bags out into the workout areas, perversion, unhygienic use of equipment, playing personal music outside of headphones and wearing clothing that is harmful to equipment, too immodest or unhygienic.
We as a society need to hold ourselves to higher standards. This gym as a location and as a company needs to have bite behind their bark and enforce their rules by tearing up memberships banning offending individuals.

This gym should change the name to "16 Hour Fitness" its ridiculous that they are no longer 24 hours. Imposible to hit the gym with graveyard shift.

Management needs to monitor the AC in the Group X Room! 81 degrees inside for a 9:00 Body Combat class and then 10:00 Body Pump Class! Thought I was going to pass out!

Terrible gym, should be sued for false advertising.. closes at 8 on weekends 10pm weekdays. Pathetic.
They rent out the basketball court during peek hours where everyone is off work from 5-9pm. Daily.
Absurd right? Why would you pay for this gym?
If you are reading this review please avoid this gym it’ll lead to disappointment and a waste of your hard earned money. It’s dirty. The manager has a bird brain and clearly doesn’t care, he’s making ends meet with the basketball league renting his gym lol. He doesn’t need any of our money clearly.
Head over to crunch or anytime fitness MUCH better, you actually get what you paid for and aren’t led to believe it’s “24 hour fitness” .
I pray to god this place goes bankrupt it’s a joke of a business it’s literally robbing the consumer. Let’s not forget 75% of this gym is filled with people who don’t even pay and are labeled “guests” ???
I wish I could give y’all 0 stars. Pathetic management = pathetic gym ?

This is not the real Travis Scott, I went to this gym for about a year. The gym smells, musty, old, and nasty. A lot of dirty people in this gym not whiping down equipment and makes it smell like piss semen and sweat. A few times after I went there I got really itchy. The staff there don't seem like they value there job when there getting paid a fair amount, they don't take care of there customers and clients and honestly just annoy them and say bad negative things. Really negative experience don't know if it's just this 24 hour fitness I hope not but overall I rate it a 1 out of 5. Ps I didn't realize this at first but when I went there enough I realized it's not a good gym.

I have been a member for only a few months and have been trying the different locations in east county. El Cajon is by far the best 24 hour location that I have visited so far! An employee named Olivia was making the rounds, filling the sanitizer bottles and paper towels, picking up discarded water bottles, putting away the left out weights, and saying hi to the patrons present.tAll fitness equipment was functional, not even one “out of order” sign (Navajo- every other machine is broken). College grove is the filthiest gym with no regard for cleanliness z there are always dust bunnies, crumpled up paper towels, discarded water/drink bottles. I would gladly drive a few extra miles to have a non-frustration experience at the El Cajon 24-hour fitness location.

horrible service here even the manager Joey he said that he would help with registration for the club and that he would send an email but he did not and when I attempted to call and ask about it numerous times I was made to wait online and told that he was caught” in a meeting”. the manager of a business makes empty promises and does not follow through with what he says. You know what to expect from everybody else in there.

They don't sweep/ vacuum properly, not enough paper towel dispensers, and people are not putting their weights away anymore

This gym 24 hours on the Main St., El Cajon sauna dry sauna is not good. Smoke like bad in there nobody clean the gym. The gym sucks. I’m gonna shoot this company right now. I’m gonna call health department. Make a show this company down.
