USPS location onbase. Never any issue here and the staff are good, well trained and friendly. Can take awhile in line as usually there is only one staff member at the counter if you go near holidays or lunchtime or that one staff member is doing passport paperwork too. There is a second staff member that comes up to help. Overall good location.

Friendly and helpful staff. Even with a line out the door they are still friendly and helpful.

Quick friendly service extra mile customer service. I always apologize for the line being long. Which isn't their fault they are doing the best I can they usually have three windows open which is good so I'm stores don't even have three people at the register.

Worst post office I've used. Always trys to upcharge me.I had a pre-paid label and the worker told me that I can't re-use old priority boxes to ship out packages. Since when does the color of the box matter if I pay for the label?

The Edwards AFB Post Office website is out of date. If you have no affiliation with the military or the installation you CANNOT gain access to the base. If you are told by any of the local Post Offices you can, I assure you that you cannot gain access to the installation. Do NOT bother!

Some Postal workers are helpful others are not. If you get a UPS package delivered in the morning and it’s not in the box. They won’t even check to see if it’s arrived they just say it will be put in the box the next day.

No wonder it's walk in passport service, and every other post office is a million year wait. If you don't live on base it ain't for you. Don't even bother going...

I Tried Going To This Post Office since on the website it says it's walk in friendly, Drove all the Way from Palmdale Just To be Disappointed. It's wonderful for those who work on the base unfortunately for us we're not aloud anywhere near 10 miles from it I just wish they would update the USPS website because I wasn't the only one that showed up to the base trying to get in that day and the other person came from littlerock.

In case you need to apply for a US passport, don't waste your time trying to process your application at this post office. I saw it online that they accept 'walk-ins" and was told by a nearby post office at Rosamond that I should go there. I could not confirm this by phone because this post office will never answer the phone. I spent over 2 hrs at the Edwards AF Base gate (there was a long line of people) trying to get a "pass" into the base only to be to told that you cannot use this post office unless you have an "affiliation with The Base." Fair enough, but I wish I knew this before taking time off work , driving 90 minutes and wasting another 2hrs at the gate before a staff at the visitor center told me this. I am writing this because there are many people like me who do not know that. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

This has to be the rudest post office. They always have negative attitudes when you come in. Hardly ever answer the phones. And the one that kills me is when they decide to close early without notice and lock the doors 15 minutes before closing all while staring at people who are trying to get in. Honestly if you can’t handle your job you need to find a new profession.

They really need to shut this place down, its an absolute joke. This country should not even have a usps service anymore if this is an example of it. UPS, and Fed Ex actually act like they appreciate your business

Hassle free service every time I go to the post office on base. The employees do not seem disgruntled with their work as I have seen at other post offices. Service is quick and convenient and given with a smile. It's located on the base, convenient for those of us who live or work on base since it's nearly impossible to make it to Rosamond during business hours through the week. The location helps keep the place from being too busy as well. Great job!

My favorite post office! They are always so friendly and there's never a line. They give you all kinds of insider tips and tricks (e.g., mailing a card that contains a gift card or CD? You'll need extra postage and a stamp that says NO MACHINE since it's not bendable). If only every USPS was this good... Sigh.
